What a fantastic garden shopping experience in Menlo Park. The place is well stocked and has all types of charities. From desert plants to fish pond plants. They have the best indoor garden furnishings and furniture in stock, and quite stylish too. There is even a bargain corner. Try it

Stodels has taken over the nursery, but besides rebranding, they dont seem to have updated the stock. The poor plants look tragic. Scraggly,potbound,and dry. I really hope they can turn it around...but they need to do so promptly

Great nursery. Well laid out and they have regular three for R100 specials for those gardening on a budget. Fantastic bonsai display this past weekend.

Got locked inside... Was scrolling in the garden centre after work from about 4 to just after 5. As I was leaving with a few plants, doors were locked. Gate locked too. I was in the section with herbs, nothing hidden away, right in the middle of everything!! Online had no business hours, nor did anyone inform me they were closing soon. Its now been 30minutes and Im trying to get hold of security, not sure when Ill get out. Disgusting display of not caring

Service is good, however very expensive. Have bought many things (irrigation, pots, etc). Bought some potting soil today at R49 per bag. When I was 6 bags short I had a look how much it costs elsewhere. Builders Warehouse is R28 per bag (for exactly the same potting soil). Always like to support local, but at these prices, will likely not buy here again.

2020: 3/5 Updated review. Visitng GardenShop recently has unfortunately left me with much to be desired. Their indoor plant collection has dwindled and the plants look a bit neglected. The indoor shopping area is mostly taken up by (overpriced) plastic pots, and gardening tools. Quite a few of the outdoor plants along the paths were knocked or had fallen over and been left to wilt2019: 4/5 Great nursery. Friendly staff. A vibrant place to walk around even if you do not buy any plants
