Bought a defy stove in less than 3 months is not working, i called the store and they advised they will log a service request from defy a week later i am still waiting for my stove to be fixed. Bought most of my furniture from H&H but i dont think in future will be buying from them. the line to customer services is always busy, no one calls back even if you leave your details. so disappointed

Store is fairly well diverse with products, but there is not much choice in categories like affordable couches. Most products are pretty pricey but they also happen to have incredible quality beds.Staff behaviour at this branch is also a bit weird. They stand huddled up at the entrance/exit, gossiping and giggling. As you walk in or out, you may see them pointing and laughing randomly at people getting in or out, making it quite awkward to walk.

Terrible experience. We purchased a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and condenser dryer on Wednesday afternoon. Told it would be delivered the next day between 3pm and 4pm. We went the next morning and bought groceries and meat etc... Awaiting our new fridge. 5h30pm I decided to phone only to be told that they didnt have stock and will deliver Friday morning. Its now 2h15pm friday. I phoned 35 minutes ago and asked what time are they coming. Just told they will get back to me in a couple of minutes. No callback yet and their number just rings and rings. Meat will go off today of that I am sure. You have my money now you do just want you want. Poor customer service.

Excellent service received from Winfrey. We ordered and paid our furniture on 27/04 and everything delivered midday on 28/04.No issues, everything covered in plastic and closed with boxes.Thank you Winfrey

They are quick to take payment and then tell you when the delivery does not come that there is no stock. If you want your stuff delivered on time, do not buy at House & Home Menlyn. Bad delivery service

Worse services I have ever received in my life. Bought a fridge cash and told them Ill be collecting in KZN. 3 days later Im trying to collect my fridge, it turns out the transaction is wrong and there are missing documents there were supposed to give me at their branch. And its been almost 3 hours in KZN distribution centre waiting on their email with the correct details. Sales person Bathabile

Disappointing service, bought a self assemble coffee table, got home and it was broken only to have a replacement a week later. I had to use the box as a coffee table, that was funFast forward not even a year, the couch cushions have lost shape, Im more into the couch than on it, oh the coffee table literally fell apart after moving it to vacuum....what a waste of money

Firstly I had to go look for someone in the appliances section to assist....how I wished I was a mystery shopper.On the delivery day, the lady that assisted me said that they will deliver at 10:00 as they open the shop at 09:00. I couldnt get hold of them on the number printed on the receipt. Delivery came through 6 (six) hours later :@

The cashiers have terrible attitudes. I entered the shop ten minutes before closing time, and they had already cashed up. They didnt want to serve me because it would inconvenience them. But it wasnt closing time yet, so why the hell did they cash up before closing time?😡

PATHETIC Customer Service! The staff, including the manager, is required to attend training with regards to customer care. Terrible service delivery! They over promise and under deliver. Rather go to Eastgate, much better service at the Eastgate House and Home. Menlyn, go get some notes from Eastgate House and Home, you have plenty to learn from them!

I will NEVER buy here again .we are moving into a new house , and spend the whole day looking for the perfect furniture- finally gave up - and then saw a beautiful l shape at house and home. immediately, arranged delivery with the sales person, and did the payment, after he said he can deliver the next Wednesday ( it was Sunday.)Wednesday ,came and gone , i phoned, since they did no follow up work, i explained that i am moving, i need it to be here TOMORROW, NO EXCUSES. sales person said hed phone me back after he arranged with his manager.they did not phone me , instead they phoned my husband - ( and he has a tiny heart ) the manager explained that there was a mis communication and we can expect it to arrive on fridayfriday came, and gone ... saturday i lost it on the manager.....hopefully we will receive the stock on tuesday next week ..i am soooo annoyed with this. and sooooo unhappy . worst service i have ever witnessed. if you dont have patience like me, dont buy here.

Delivery process is kak. Bought a bed on Saturday , paid for delivery on sunday morning, waited in vain, drove to the store where i was told it will still be delivered the same day, waited , no calls no delivery, no apology. Nada. Just not professional

You are treated very well when you are buying something but when you try and return it - you have to sit there for over 30 minutes so they can complete their paperwork (which they do not need you to stick around for) just to be told that they cant pay you the money back because they have no cash even though it is their own rule to pay cash if payment was made with a voucher/debit card. They couldnt even offer me any solution except for returning to the store when they get cash - which could be in a week or a month...no ones knows. I suggested that they EFT me so I could just leave and get the Hell out of that place. Im still waiting. its been over 5 days.

Very disappointment in the service. I called beforehand to inquire about 3/4 orthopedic bed. The lady assured me that they had this in stock so we drove all the way to Menlyn. Upon arriving not only did she not know what an orthopedic bed was but she didnt seem to know what 3/4 bed was either! Disappointing customer service.

Staff need beter training. They are either disinterested or overbearing. Prices are high and sometimes feel a little erratic.

Misleading info. In the web page the closing time is 7 pm. When you get to the shop they closed at 6 pm. Besides the guy closing the door, laugher on my face. No wonder why your rate is so low.

Very bad service i received from House and Home Menlyn. Everything went well when i was finalizing the purchase . I was told goods will be delivered on Saturday. Then on Saturday they were returned back to the warehouse and delivery postponed to Sunday. Suspended all the plans and waited for the delivery which never took place and no one bothered to contact me. Im still waiting for the goods as i post the review.

I am trying to buy patio cushions and was sitting at the Centurion branch as they didnt have enough. Waiting 30 minutes to hear if they have stock, but sales people are chatting away in the background and not trying to help, cant believe the treatment. Time is money people
