Visited the hotel 2021/08/27 and there were people who made a noise 2 doors down from the room I was in. They were 5 occupying a 2 sleeper room, drunk and disorderly. Security was called 2 times but when they left those people just kept on making a noise and worse they had had a portable speaker and played music very loudly till 5:00am the next morning.Security did nothing about it!!!The worst was that from the time of checking in till check out the was no hot water. I showered with cold water that evening and in the morning I called reception and they promised to send a maintanance guy to come up and check what was wrong, instead a lady that introduced herself as the housekeeping supervisor came opened the tap for close to 10 minutes but still the water was cold then she said it’s “Sunday the maintenance guys phone is off and she’s not sure if he will come in”It was another cold shower for me again!!!!The bed was made up only with 2 sheets and a blanket in between. Not a duvet or a at least a comforter. It was so irritating fixing and trying to keep everything on.The network reception and their WiFi is terrible!!On checking out I requested to speak to the manager and I was told that the manager was in a meeting and will be back after 12:00, I can wait which I decided against because I had other commitments for the day.I got a call around 14:00 from reception saying the manager is not in still and sends their apology but will call me around 18:00, as if....Till now I have not heard anything from the manager!The manager doesn’t care at all

My stay at the Park Lodge Hotel Pretoria, was great because of the excellent service that I got from Petronella Marowa, the Executive Housekeeper .A standard that she maintained from the date of my arrival to the date of my departure.Thank you and keep it up Petronella!Sheila.

Affordable and professional services

The water was cold, the receptionist was nice but not helpful at all, everything we asked for wasnt available and they didnt call to ask if we were coming before giving our room away or call to tell us they had given away the room. We paid for a much more expensive room with amenities that didnt exist. Overall it was bad, really bad.

The receptionist was okay but failed to assist us with our needs. False advertising with regards to the apartment amenities. The amenities that were supposed to be free they were either not available or they charged us for; eg shuttle, mini bar and break fast. They kept calling us for no reason. Unnecessary knocks in the morning. There was loud music all night. They failed to deal with the noise. They deserve half a star. Would not recommend.

Very pleasant stay in Pretoria Center. Clean rooms, nice beds, safe and secure, WiFi available, taxi service available had a nice meal and breakfast... and absolutely great staff.

My stay at The Park Lodge Hotel was amazing, it always is! From the very beginning back in 2016 when I had my first weekend away with Bae, we stayed at The Park Lodge Hotel and it was amazing, this year Is even better! Always clean! Smelling really well, the most amazing friendly stuff that feel like friends or even family. The chef was very nice, Obaken his name is. He even served us a complementary pudding. The new update done to the hotel and the personalised branding on the necessities we may use just tops it off. The best place to stay at a very affordable in Pretoria is The Park Lodge Hotel! You will never go wrong. Oh and not to forget, the Fries (chips)were amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked in on 25/06/2017.The reception was good. In particular one guy called Vincent made me feel at home. He made sure I have everything I needed. Dinner was perfect. The problem arose in the morning of the 26/06/2017 at about 02h300 at 2nd floor when a group of drunk students came and made a lot of hullabaloo. They disrupted our sleep and i had to wake up and confront them. I think its high time the hotel management conscientise guests that this is not a shebeen but a place to rest. We come here on different engagements, on studies, on business, etc and not to party. Thank u

The price was good and the rooms well appointed. Upon arrival no one not even the manager leaning on the counter and watching loud YouTube videos could assist. The invoice promised for following morning was not able to be printed. I called 3x to ask how to lock safe as no instructions were on outer or inside an after 24 minutes still no assistance. The porter was the only redeeming staff member of the venue and was helpfull and efficient. Next am at checkout we waited at reception for 15 minutes for regular coffee which arrived with cling wrap over each cup and milk which was absurd. No one at reception was able to recommend restaurants in the area except Macdonalds...really guys. We were very disappointed in staff urgency and efficiency which otherwise could have been a super stay.

Extremely clean and affordable. Professional and friendly stuff. Only setback is the loud church music on Sunday mornings.

The quality of facilities has diminished, water pressure of showers is weak, in addition to the showers temperature control which is hard to regulate: this presents a danger of being touched by scolding hot water. The park Lodges Wi-Fi has also reduced in QoS, I am lucky to receive a continuous connection while streaming and taking care of personal admin.

The rooms are decent but their meals for a hotel leave alot to be desired.They do t seem to have a kitchen on site or at least thats what it seems like from their services.I would not stay here again.....

I sleep here every weekend. They have great breakfast, their rooms are clean, friendly staff, great service all in all. Nothing beats this hotel in Pretoria in terms of value-for-money.

The best place to stay in pretoria when travelling with family or if u want a home-like experience.

Apartments are mixed with hotel rooms and in that case apartments residents makes noise cause they feel at home. As a result you hotel resident u a caught in that noise.

This time Im really disappointed. Not happy at all, ive been given a room with two beds as if Ive come along with my kids.I really felt undermined,especially after having friends and other ten couples booked in the same hotel with me. The rooms are neat and comfortable but the noise on the 1st floor that I was occupying made my stay very uncomfortable. I even had to sleep with the T.V. on in order to block out the noise in the passage and from the room adjacent to mine. I couldnt believe that people could be so disregarding of others. Apart from the noise, the place is neat.

Not a pleasant stay at all. Will not recommend it to anyone.

Hello from Russia! Pros: there is parking, safe, clean, nice bed, polite staff. Cons: a very strange layout of the room! You come in and rest against the entrance to the bed, and there is a small window in the shower room. There is almost no daylight. For this money, there seems to be not a lot of choice in Pretoria, but in comparison with hotels in other cities, it is debatable))

Very solid and quite expensive. Large and clean rooms, delicious and varied breakfasts. Friendly staff. On December 2018, serious repairs were going on in the territory, which may cause some inconvenience.
