Derisory service and workmanship.Very friendly and full of promises when quoting but an absolute disgrace when work commences.I contracted them to sand/re-coat my floors and repair termite damage in the main bedroom and study.Refer to the summary below as well as attached PHOTOS to corroborate.(1) Work took over six weeks to complete although it was promised that it would take two weeks. Workers never arrived on time (while work was stalled for days on end with nobody arriving). Farrel simply did not answer his phone most of the time and seldom called back. There was minimal supervision - workers just got dropped off. Workers were rude and unfriendly. The house was left in a mess with tools and rubbish lying around after a days work.(2) The sanding was done brusquely with no attention to detail. floor surfaces are rough and contoured. Corners were missed while the skirting were damaged in many places. Surface finish (especially in the corners is horrible.(see photos)(3) The repair to the bedroom floor (which had to be re-done 2 times during the process due to sloppy work) falls apart (see photos). colour of the wood was not matched. The surface is wavy and no allowance was made for thermal/humidity related expansion, resulting in the planks lifting and breaking. On top of that, the planks were not machined to the correct width, resulting in a ragged, unaligned appearance in relation to the original floor. Study: floor also wavy while gaps between planks were filled with wood filler and polished (which erodes quickly to re-open the gaps) to compensate for poor workmanship.(4) I have tried(with much effort due to the poor correspondence from his side) to engage with Brian Farrel to address the issue but he refuses to commit to a clear and organized remedial procedure. He never calls back when messages are left. Emails go unanswered and if they do, the replies are evasive on the issue at hand. When I finally informed Farrel that I am considering legal action he reverted to belligerence.
