They told us go to any postoffice to get a new card. After 5 post offices who does not have a machine to print a card, we finally found Sunnyside who has a machine. He we were in the queue for more than one and a half hour.

Terrible service , a huge waste of time. Extremely inefficient .They do not answer calls. I took my mum to the office and they sent her away without listening to her query . The male assistant was rude, arrogant and loud. I pleaded with the security to allow me in when I heard him assisting my mum . He yelled at us and sent us off refusing to hear us out and said her card will work without even checking it out . I tried explaining to him that my mums card was being declined due to an invalid pin but she never changed her pin. He wouldn’t listen and posted us off to church square post office where we further got harassed by car guards . They take advantage of elderly people , they do not respect them or hear them out and it’s already stressful for their health & safety to have to be public spaces with this pandemic .

Fast, friendly service after spending desperate months to get hold of them. Overall, after all the initial pains, a good customer related face-to-face experience. My opinion? They need bigger premises outside the central part if the city with safe, sufficient parking and easy access for disabled people.

This place just breaks my heart. This place offers services to individuals from all walks of life, all ages. You get elders with children on their backs, elders who us walking stick standing in line for more then an hour TO GET HELP. This was just a sad sight to see.💔

I arrived early as in 4:45am... one or two people were waiting there already, barely any que. You have to be ready to wait there, no matter what time you arrive, but you want to be at the front part of the que. I parked below inside the state theatre building parkade for safety, which opens at 4am and walked about 200m not far to SASSA office. You can also park in front of the offices if you want, there will probably be parking then.Staff was friendly, but you wait!!!🙂 I was there for the appointment (PLEASE bring your meds along for doctor to see..they dont often tell you to bring your meds along).

This place is a Joke as most government institutions. 3 hours in a queue to be told we don’t have documents available, we will take you’re details and call you when available. Arrogant staff outside building, all have chip on their shoulders.

Seriously you need some more personnel or more offices to assist. We were there at your Pta offices in Prinsloo st 2 times with my mother with no success. And that just to submit the new bank forms. If you want to be helped you have to be at your office at 6.00am. My mother is 80 years old and in a wheelchair...and the trip to there and back was pretty much exhausting for her age.

Low service because they keep say next week next week and we are using money to go there

Ma
Review №14

Not very helphul we as pensioners need our monies only to be told the monies has been paid into our accounts, going to the bank just to be made a fool and time wasted no income. So now how do u expect us to live we have to eat no money. Services should be attended and the relevant staff to be sent for training how to assist. So still the question us when do we get our monies as pensioners. An answer will be highly appreciated. What is the reason for the offices being closed

Honestly I have been since in line before the office had opened up and only at 1pm we just got in the building and things are not getting any better some of the staff are not even friendly but their very angry towards us and can meet us in between. Some people still had to wait in the same line as us just only to get information that could have just been told within 5 minutes and without wasting peoples time just to answer simple question. Its really disappointingPlease improve

Queued for 2 and a half hours only to be given an Appointment for 2 weeks time. SASSA like SARS and Dept of Labor are antiquated they need to make applications easier especially for the elderly. Sad thing is being Govt department the people who work there are opinionated and downright rude...

Am going back there on the 13/02/2020 and hope to be assisted by others like her

Had to go 4 x in July for review. Had to go back to get my medical proof. Left there 9h00 go back 12h00 10min I were done handed in all the documents. Week later there to take a friend and ask them to check on the system. Gess what???? They did not put the medical dokumente in the computer 😠😳. Go back home again print all my stuff and go back. Now I will get only more in September if they did it correctly on the 12th my pension for August would be correct. Not even did they capture my medical add in Januarie 2018. So I lost a lot of my pensioen.Check them all the tine

The staff is old and tired theyve established a good way of hacking servicing clients, they will work only when you raise your hands and start asking questions about the movements of the queue. I complaint about this at the ministers office, Ive been waiting for feedback from the the director of customer services to this day.
