Had the worlds best waffle at RocoMamas ! The Nutella waffle is absolutely delicious ! The waffle was spongy and soft - with milky bar and Nutella sauce on top !The other waffle was a classic - with vanilla and syrup. The ice cream was also great !

When I am standing in your restaurant I would expect to be served the meal I want and not be told the only way I can order it is throught the Uber eats app. I would love to meet your director of operations and have him explain that business model to me.....

Ive always loved RocoMamas and especially their FreakShakes (its quite expensive but we keep it for special occasions) however these that we got today just looks like a normal milkshake (even though its almost double the price). Very disappointed.

Very nice young guy served me after a lady waiter stood there looking at me when I wanted to sit down. It was as if she did not really want to serve me.Fortunately the young male waiter, about 19 years old, was a great host and made me feel welcome.

Rocomamas at Castle Gate really impressed me - from service to food to following Covid protocols.We ordered the F Bomb burgers and it was beyond delicious. It was so fresh and it even looked exactly like the picture advertising the burger; and it was great value for money too!!Gerrards service was excellent - he was super friendly and helpful. Great burgers but the patty quality went down theres no flavour in the patties

Out of all the RocoMamas in Pretoria this one was by far the worst one for me. Being that it’s fairly new, one would expect impeccable service but the service was excruciatingly SLOW and it wasn’t even packed, they had just opened for the day.The waitress messed up my order based on “assumptions” (assuming that I might want chips with my burger when I only ordered the burger)and I had to pay for something I didn’t order.Then I had to wait a good 12 and a half minutes for the bill (as mentioned above, IT WAS NOT PACKED).The food was delicious, fresh ingredients and well presented as expected. I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance, plus it’s convenient for me to go to this mall because it’s a stone throw away but I don’t see myself going back to this specific RocoMamas anytime soon or ever.If you have the patience to wait a while before they attend to you, and be treated like a none paying customer but enjoy the food, I would recommend this RocoMamas.

Enjoyed late breakfast/early lunch at RocoMamas Castle Gate today. Great food, good vibe, good service. My tasty chicken strips were crunchy outside, soft inside - just the way I like it. Much better than that other chicken place ; ) Hubbys burger was amazing. Service is OK, but this Rocomamas is not rocking it. The patties is almost like boiled with no taste. Their garlic sauce have not taste at all. No craft beers available either. Waiters are a bit unsure of themselves. I know they can do a lot better. Lets hope for the best.

Had a breakfast for the first time at RocoMamas. Was pleasantly surprised. At just over R50, we had a hearty full breaky. Staff and service to match. Will definitely do it again.

Ouer waiter Craig was AMAZING!!! he served us with a smile. We had slow death by chocolate milkshakes, and it was out of this world. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ive had a very positive experience at this branch with friendly service. Rendani specifically had timely service and a great sense of humor. I can recommend this branch for a quick lunch or just a get-away-not-in-the-mood-to-cook restaurant. The peanut butter milkshake however must be my favorite.

The waiter- Karabo was great. The manager too. The environment good and so was the food. We had a good moment with my son..

Small but great service.Manager got dough from pizza restaurant next door for kids to play with. Awesome baby seat and nice basin to wash hands without having to go into the bathroom.

This center is very new and everyone is on their best behavior. The center is bustling on a Sunday, so theres no chance of getting a little quiet away from all the children. The food, shakes and service was excellent. Well see if they maintain their level of excellence as the novelty wears off

Me again. Friday lunch at RocoMamas Castle Gate. Shoutout to our waiter Craig for telling us about the special, knowing all the offers inside out and fast and friendly service. Every meal heres an experience! Their special is an Old School Burger and chips for R49! Bargain! They also have an alcohol licence and beer on tap now.

Knowledgeable staff and friendly. My waiter Tawanda were very helpful and went beyond the norm to accommodate the child (fussy eater) with me. He was tops. He even went looking for a sweet for the child. I will definitely suggest this RocoMamas and Tawanda to anyone who wants to be wowed by the service.

It was the first time in a very very long time that I have been at RocoMamas. The food was excellent and good value for money and the service was good. The peri peri chicken wings are highly recommended 👌

We ordered 2 portions cheese bombs. 6 Jalapeño and 6 Fetta. The Kitchen mixed the portions placing 3 of each on each plate. My wife and daughter does not eat hot food so we asked the waiter why they mixed it. He apologized and offered to replace the Fetta Bombs. The Manager Dave came to our table to ask us what happened. We explained to him after which he started arguing with us. He tried to convince us that it was not mixed and that we were seeing pickles. We tried to explain to him that we actually cut two bombs from the same plate open in front of the waiter to show him that they were different. I then explained to him that I did not ask the waiter to replace anything. He offered. It got to the point where Dave asked me what I want him to do. So I told him to leave me to enoy my meal in peace. I would strongly suggest that Dave goes on a management course. He comes across as being arrogant. 0 Stars from me and my family for him. The waiter was amazing and tried his best to salvage my wifes birthday dinner.

Not a moaner in general... but must say very disappointed in Castle Gate branch. Been to numerous other branches and had a very pleasant experience. Food was tasteless, didnt have pork ribs, beef ribs had no taste and wasnt really easy to chew... chicken wings basting was not good, did not have a Bar-one shake, chicken wings didnt have much taste, they have an alcohol menu but dont have any to sell. My son had nachos ( knowing that its really good from our previous experiences at Irene branch ), there was so much chillies in there,poor child couldnt even finish it. Apart from that our waiter still delivered good service, needless to say our Friday night dinner hopefully made the carguard smile.

Have always loved RocoMamas, its great to have it near home as well now... i have to say this has become my new favorite place the last time i was there my waiter couldnt understand what i meant when i said i wanted my chicken to be grilled but luckily Zee from Brooklyn was there and I was sorted in no time, today i orderd through uber and being me of course my orders come with a lot of instructions and also being me i called as soon as i order to make sure there where no mistakes, i called and spoke to Zee again 😊 and she assured me that everything will be proper, and was soon as the orders were dropped she called me this to me really felt personal..., and everything was labeled correctly i have to say she really goes out of her way, uve gotta love those kind eyes Zee for president... 🤗🤣😂

Im a big RocoMamas fan and this one unfortunately isnt on the same standard as others Ive visited. Poor prep on the burgers with missing ingredients and way too salty fries.

10:30 Very average Roco Mamas - certainly not the best choice restaurant at Castle Gate. The Nachos (without cheese?!) is a disappointment - usually great option at any Roco Mamas. Castle Gate should visit Hazeldean Roco Mamas to see how it is done or their Spur neighbour.10:45 Now have to unfortunately downgrade my rating further (not sure when last I issued a 2 star!). The burgers appears to be smaller and the beef patty was TASTELESS (??!!) - for a moment I thought I lost my sense of taste. Will have to recalibrate at Burger King on my way out.10:55 Manager (Benny - very professional) now explained that there might be a problem with the seasoning of the burger patty - without seasoning it will be tasteless and he will follow up with the staff. He also indicated that the Nachos recipe has been changes and there is no cheese option anymore and not everyone is happy with this (apart from the liquid cheese on the side). He invited me to visit again at random and report any improvement.
