For MONTHS Ive been researching various dressmaker pinning dummys in the hope of finding the PERFECT doll for my needs and sewing room. The entire process was now becoming unpleasant. So many choices, so many functions and NO ONE TO OFFER GUIDANCE and SUPPORT on the various options. In my search I stumbled across DRESSMAKER DOLLS and decided to call. Got through to Leon who despite being on his way to collect his daughter from school, took my call. It was a call that would restore my faith in mankind. I expressed interest in a particular dressform, now based solely on easthetic. Leon proceeded to suggest otherwise and recommended a specific item based on my INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS as a designer. He addressed the functionality, HOW to get FULL BENEFIT from my dressform, WHAT the one he recommended could do to aid my garment construction, HOW to adjust, measure, set, pin and build through padding etc to achieve the PERFECT FIT. To be assisted for the mere purpose of facilitating a sale is one thing. CARE and SINCERE REGARD is another. THE MAN CARES, in fact to the point where what he recommended was literally LESS costly than what I was quite happy to spend. Our conversation took as long and was as comprehensive as I needed it to be to address EVERY. SINGLE. CONCERN. In addition to all this, there were texts and more calls, each as PROFESSIONAL as the one before. Delivery of my purchase happened BEFORE midday the following day, PERFECTLY packaged delivered by a well mannered courier.
