Nice market. Great variety of handmade goods, cheeses, biscuits, meats, fruit, lovely breakfast options. When buying fresh produce or meat, take time to inspect the product carefully, especially when frozen. Only other complaint is that I really wish that they wont pack up so early!

Pretoria boeremark is really an early bird paradise :) 5h30 am to 9h30am. It is definitely worth waking up early to go out and support local farmers and artisans. Fruits, veg, meats, leather, cheeses, olives and home decor!!! I can go on and on :) there is a small petting pen and go karts for the kids. People walk their dogs while doing their shopping and you can even hire a cart to pull along while mom shops! Have your picture taken by the boeremark sign and dont stress the parking is super safe too. Definitely a good way to start the day with official street names and stalls welcoming you while music and food waft through the air.

We love going to the Boeremark. There is such a vibe of good things to come. So exciting to be there so early in the morning.Such lovely products on sale. Just love the fresh coffee and freshly made foods for sale. The car park with security guards in an enclosed area is a plus🙌It finishes early so one can still plan other activities for the day.Someone even brought their cat 🐈and little dog along. (LEASH) The kids just loved petting the cat.

Very busy and friendly festive atmosphere. There is always a bargain to be found and true value for money.I am fond of dogs but not on such a scale at a food venue. Dog owners allow dogs to use open areas for bathroom breaks and even some stall poles, tables and even displayed products are used by dogs to relieve themselves. If management could fix this problem, it would easily be a five star market.

Delightful outing for the family you can even take your dog with as long as its on a leash. Fresh products directly from the farmer to the public. You need to be there at 6am in the morning because at 8 am most of the good products are sold out.

I finally managed to tick off another spot Ive been dying to visit. Thanks to lockdown its been over a year later, and in the cold. BUT I can finally say I made the trek at 5am to the weekly Pretoria Boeremark which starts at 5:30 until 9am every Saturday. It was flipping cold, but we got there quick easily and even found parking pretty fast even though the cars just kept streaming in. Its a massive space of fleamarket type stalls filled with all sorts of produce, fruit, vegetables or even meat and poultry. There are flower shops, clothing shops and a vast array of food places, as one can expect. Our main goal was 2 things, Roosterkoek and Vetkoek. We started our morning off with some Roosterkoek and Coffee to defrost. We had hoped the Roosterkoek was made fresh and given warm, and my cheese wasnt melted, but it was ok. Walked around, and bought breads, pickles, Baklava, Vetkoek and Mince, fruit and fruit juices. The place is very Kid and Animal friendly, there are some play areas. Some shops even have little water bowls for the doggies. The cutest find were the Pigs, Bunnies and Chickens, felt like being at the Dairy farm (without the stench)I am so glad I made the trek and got to experience this place. I definitely wouldnt mind going again. Its very spacious, everyone has their masks on unless sitting and eating and drinking and they have sanitizers on entrance. If you brave enough to wake up early go take a drive. Here are just some of the many pics I took, there is alot more and so many wonderful #SupportLocal options to choose from. They all need our support. I used my Vetkoek today for a lekker Bacon and Egg breakfastPs. Word of advice - we took packets with in case we bought a few items but they have these roller flat trolleys to rent if you plan on buying alot or like heavy plants or bags or fruits etc at R10. Some just use it to drag their little ones all bundled up in blankets 😂#TheFoodMusketeer#TheFoodMusketeerTravels#crossingthe011#TFMPretoriaBoeremark
