I visited 6 different, car mechanics. And nobody could give me a answer as to why my car is not Idling. I took it to Pro Fix and 4 days later the problem was not only identified but also FIXED!! At a fair price judging by the amount of work that was done, with a 18 months Warranty. But then after 2 days of having my car back it started to sound like it started to miss fire. I took the car back and after 2 weeks no improvements was made the only thing that did happen was they Replaced the Oil lifters (According to them) It cost me another R 1250. I towed the car away there after 3 weeks (After driving it in there) It cost me Another R 7000 to get it fixed at another Mechanic and took about 3 days. And still the Oil Lifters was not changed. I went back to Pro Fix and spoke to the reception (Casper) where He insulted my father after we asked to see the old replaced parts. Also to see a Manager or Owner is a big hassle as there is always 10+ Excuses. This was truly an unpleasant experience and will never Advice anyone to do business with Pro Fix. For a company in Van Der Hoff Street. They relay dont keep up their end of the bargain. And the 18 months Warranty was never spoken off again.

Post on behalf of Ruida Lottering: On Tuesday 13 February 2018, Casper came to pick up the car. On 24 February 2018, Casper came to collect the Deposit of R7000. The outstanding amount then was R7980. Casper brought the car back on March 12, 2018 and said the car is 100% ready. Then we paid the outstanding amount of R7950. When we wanted to drive the car (same day) then the car did not want to get gears at all, the car was just like it was when they took him. We called Casper directly when he said he was going to come and see now. Casper only picked up the car 2 days later on 14 March. Meanwhile, there have been countless calls and fights and so many stories and excuses have been made. Meanwhile, Casper called us once to say that there was another problem on the gearbox and that we still had to pay a further R1735. We went to pay it on the 1st of May. If we call Casper his excuse is they are still waiting for the part. From 13 February to the present, we paid a total of R16 715 and countless calls to him and words and still did not get the car back! From day 1 until now there has been NO communication between owner of Pro Fix Service Center and us, we have already asked o.m to talk to him but gave a different excuse each time. We last spoke to Casper on Friday 18 May so after 1am and he said the part is on its way from Johannesburg after how many days. He will call us on Saturday 19 May and say whether the car is ready or not and he did not call back at all. Do not do business with the people.
