Well what can you say or what can you expect other than, this is a place to pick up your Takealot online order. So for this, pickup of online orders it does it well. With hand sanitisation at door, quick scan and lookup of order, you are in then out, with your order. If you were expecting to get a bite to eat here or buying a cold one to drink, or waiting in line music then you will be very much disappointed here...but so will Takealot and Google reviews, cause again, this place is not a burger joint or a cold drinks or bar even... its a place to quickly get your Takealot online order...get it!?

How is it that the shop is closed during load shedding? In the day and age we live in can they not have a manual system to use when electricity does not work? Or a generator. All the other shops are open and providing services.

Quick, convenient and easy; which you pay for, most products you have to pay R25 extra to have them take it to a Pickup Point. Collection times are almost 24/7 which helps a lot. During the different levels of Covid waves, the queues do get VERY long!

Getting your Takealot orders at this drop-off branch is unreal!! Joy was in charge of dispatching parcels yeasterday. There was an unending queue and I thought today is the day I wait here until closing time!! But NO... in about 7minutes I received my order!!They MOVE at this Depot!!It is a joy to experience this!! Well done to all the staff!!!

It was a slightly slower than I anticipated, It took a while for my package to be found. But other than that, it’s much cheaper to pick your package from the pickup point than have them deliver straight to your address.

Highly efficient service!Open for extended hours, I’ve picked up stuff at random times during the week and weekends - even public holidays.Reception is always welcome and quick - have your QR ready for them and the process is less than a minute flat: in and out.

Takealot really needs to do something about this pickup point. Second day in a row and the queue is 30 people deep. Lots of very irritated people.

I am msking use of this pickup quite often. Tne last few times every time the waiting and queue is longer. Only 1 person assisting. Currently in a line with 15 people and average time per customer 4min...not a pleasure anymore

My message from Takealot only indicates that my order is ready with the order number, Directions and QR code. No where in the message does it cleary state that you will need to provide a QR code upon collection. Takealot will have to improve on their communication with customers.The lady at Takealot Faerie Glen Pick-up point was rude and didnt even answer any of my questions she just kept quiet. This in my opinion is totally unprofessional.I am very disappointed because I live quite far and had to drive all the way home just to get the QR code.I would like to add something- I read some of the other reviews and it seems like nothing is done about the complaints. There is no response and the same problems keep reoccurring.

Whenever I go to collect my items the pickup point is closed due to power outages. This has happened multiple times the last few months. Takealot does not give alternative options for delivery so my items are stuck there. It’s a waste of my time to drive there just for the place to be closed.

Convenient pick up location fro Takealot orders. It is a zero touch collection. You scan your barcode yourself and they bring the parcel to the counter where you can take it.

Can be very busy during the day and with only one person helping behind the counter its almost not worth doing the pickup compared to home delivery. The late opening in the morning also isnt ideal

The time taken to pick up and parcel is excessively long. This was not the case in the beginning. Nowadays it is common to stand in a long queue outside the pickup point. This pickup point is understaffed, and the result is a deterioration in the customer experience.

Easy to access if you are already in the East.Safe parking - plenty of guards in the parking lot.The helpful staff went out of their way to assist me the last time I was there..The same place as Menlyn pickup point on the app (I think Takealot app has a typo).

This is your standard pick up point. I had some difficulty finding the entrance. Had to ask a security guard to guide me. The process is smooth and quick once you are inside but the first impression I received was very bland and hidden away.

Only one point of service so when things go wrong the queue piles up quickly. I think staff could be a bit better trained on their own systems and does not seem to quite have the best customer service orientated training. But it works and looks good.

My parcel was there on the day. Intact and as I ordered. The reason i use takealot is the convenience of it. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently and I was excited to get my purchase ... up to the time of collection. Sunday opening time said 11am. At about 12 45 someone appeared. This really messed me around, driving up and down 3 times, as the component I ordered had to be acquired on that day... or maybe I was like a kid at 8:15am on Christmas day, listening to Santa snoring down the hallway... doesnt matter. There were quite a few other irrate customers around, so I dont think Im unreasonable with my gripe. Ill reconsider my next purchase from take a lot... or rather just get it delivered. Avoid absolute irritation.
