I have used this company on a few occasions for purposes of transferring vehicle ownership. Excellent service! They are knowledgeable, very helpful and the service is quick. Will definitely use them again.

The R 120 fee over the Dept Transport outrageous vehicle licence fee well outweighs hours in a Post Office behind a line of sick people ( If they are Open) or even better it outweighs the time and risks at a Government Vehicle Licence facility. How is it possible that a company would employ such a rude and arrogant woman to work for them? The woman at he Roadworthy counter does NOT seem like she wants this job or that she even wanted to get out of bed. Is she even capable of smiling? I dont appreciate this as a customer and id rather drive an hour somewhere else than come back this this branch. Terrible!!! Zero stars if i could!

I had bad service from this company years ago and decided to try them again but I regretted my decision. When they did the roadworthy I had to wait 10 minutes for the person doing the roadworthy to finish talking to his friend first before he would come back to give me my roadworthy certificate.The lady at the counter was very rude and can clearly see she doesnt want to be there as most of the that are there when I went there previously.Avoid this roadworthy centre rather try a company that actually wants to help you.

Just been to update my license. There was a queue but it moved fast (30 min). With all docs prepped prior to arrival 10 minutes @ counter. Juanita could not have been more friendly, professional or factual. Wow. Memorable experience !

I was very disappointed and irritated with the service I received today. They are apparently running on skeleton staff, which means whether you pick up your license that you got an sms was already there or whether you are applying for 15 new licenses, you wait in the same queue. After 15 min the queue did not move. I had my 2 year old with me (whilst the other customers were alone) so I left. Such very bad service.

It all went quite smoothly.

All around bad service. Its been multiple trips just to get my car ownership changed. First trip to make roadworthy appointment. Second trip to do roadworthy but system offline for change of ownership. Third trip to pay for change of ownership. 4th trip to collect (had to wait 40 minutes) only to be told I have to pay an additional R400 (already over R2000 paid).I used this service as it was supposed to make life easier.Not only has it not, they are complete ripoffsI definitely do not recommend!!!!

Service at the office is great. Note they are on skeleton staff at the moment. Not enough people to check the phones. They will phone you back though. Also just learned for roadworthy you need to make an appointment at the office. They will give you a date and time. They have a 24 cars a day capacity at the moment.

Just wanted fetch my license renewal. 45min wait. People agitated and frustrated. This is worse than doing it at the post office. If you pay a premium you expect to get better service. Surely you can have person dedicate to collections. Never again.

Very helpful and friendly service

Disappointed that after a year of the pandemic, this company hasnt been able to adjust its processes to allow for minimal contact. Woman I spoke to didnt seem to understand the sensitivities of the time and simply told me they cant do telephonic appointments. Drove past there yesterday and the place was heaving with people just waiting... their premises are small and so it doesnt really allow for social distancing.

Its conveniently located and a necessity. But it feels a hell of a lot like a government setup sadly. Not quite as bad but not really like you would expect from private business. You kind of feel like your asking for a handout when in reality your giving one. Its as if there are budget problems. The staff are friendly and the service was quick enough though. Also the not answering the phones thing is annoying. They say its because of covid issues but I feel its more of a business just happens because people dont really have much choice so let it ring thing. Also the old one card machine thats not working thing only ever happens as these kind of places. Weird. Wonder why...

Appointment required for roadworthy.You have to go to them to pay for an appointment and then they phone you back for a date and time.I suggest that Menlyn roadworthy setup an online booking and payment system.

Very busy, but friendly and competent.

So these guys are REALLY ripping covid a new ahole. For a road worthy you now have to drive there, and make an appointment, so go home and wait for somebody to phone you with a date and time. You can all for the measly fee of R750. Road worthy takes max 5 minutes which makes them a R4500/hour service. I seriously need to get in on this racket.

Because of corona they charge a lot more than usual and they only do a few cars per day. They said they will notify me when to come in. They lost my documents and never notified me when to come in, calling them did not work. I had to visit them in person to question what was going on. But they are friendly.

A acquaintance took their vehicle for change of ownership a few days back, and payed R415 for the entire transaction. I then went to do the exact same process yesterday, to which the woman at the counter wanted to charge me R730 for. Completely unbelievable and a clear ploy to take advantage of someone just because theyre young.

You need to fill in a long form, and owners signature (my husband works, so I went to renew) AND proof of address. And then.... It takes 2 days to arrive! Thank you Spar branches. No forms. Photos of licence disks okay. And no extra paper work. And you get it next day.

Great service. Marina, Kagiso and Geraldine were very helpful. Very quick. Marina has done a few of these and is very efficient. We sat at Mugg and Bean while we waited they called us there and Kagiso had already started doing the test in the parking lot. Geraldine processed license renewal and was also very helpful. Whole process took under an hour.Would highly recommend.
