Wingate Park CC is immaculate. Its truly the Augusta National of South Africa with all the pine trees. And there are many trees which makes this course extremely difficult if you digress from the tee box. The course is pristine, greens are fast and in great condition and it offers you a great challenge.

Fantastic golf course, great people. Go and have a round there, you will not be disappointed.

It was great to visit the club after many years. There were many golfers out on the course and on the terrace. The facilities are neat and clean and the expected Covid precautions are in place. Did not stay for lunch, but the aroma from the kitchen was amazing.

Went to have a look at a world class couple Latin dancing (Ryno and Eliana). The food was prepared wonderfully, the Pot-brood, nobody could stop eating. I did not, but was very tempted. The portions and different variety of food were excellent for those who eat healthy and look after themselves. Nothing wrong with the pudding, I cheated! The waiters was up and running, friendly. Most of all, being a bit involved with the couple, I asked waiters for a couple of things we needed for a raffle that was going to take place. They were indeed so helpful, I was truly amazed at their helpful response. Tables was cleaned immediately, orders was taken promptly from the tables. I would definitely recommend this place as a venue for any kind of function, it is really a place where the staff and all people involved synchronized together wonderfully, less stressful with no unnecessary hi-cups. A night without unnecessary stress having an event really pays of relaxing, and going home joyfully, having a lot of fun.

This is very under ratted place, specially when it comes to food and views. For a clubhouse, the food is better than a fine dining restaurant.

The course is in good condition 👌. Jusr stay away from the rough and trees if you wanna enjoy the course. The grees are excellent. Halfway house has good variety of food on offer. Overall good experience 😊

Wingate is a special course, close to my home, so I admit to bias! Played there many times and the course is always fun, well looked after and has some challenging holes. The vibe is good, the staff friendly and the fees reasonable. Highly recommended

My first time in many years playing on Wingate Golf Course. I was surprised to see how quickly you go through the 18 holes vs other courses. The greens are very fast and unpredictable. The course is very busy on a Thursday. Great halfway house options.

Great course. Not long but technical with a lot of large trees creating a narrow course. Draw biased for the long players. And in good condition. Clubhouse is nice but halfway house could be upgraded a little bit.

I, a female Canadian, made purchases at your well stocked pro shop, enjoyed local food at your lovely halfway house, found your staff to be very friendly. Your course is challenging and enjoyable to play. The clubs I rented were unacceptable. The aged clubs of five different brands of varying shafts were a great disappointment to my game and my gender. I slipped on your slippery mossy brick upon entering your facility. Luckily no major injuries.

Great challenging golf course. Awesome food and drinks, great atmosphere. Golf carts in good condition, human caddies knowledgeable. Parking is ample, security is good. Great value for money for beginner and advanced golfers

Wingate Park is a classic parkland course. Its tree lined fairways are the more difficult holes, where premise is on getting the ball in the right side of the fairway to make par. The course is not overly long but takes a high toll on wayward driving.Its one of the oldest and best kept courses in Pretoria. The greens are always fast and in good condition. Well stocked pro shop and halfway house is, like most other South African golf courses, fairly standard amenity. Staff are always friendly and courteous.Wingate scores 5 in my view because of its timeless standard; true benchmark for value for money.

Golf is incredible the clubhouse is pretentious kniving and inflates your bill and tells you to just pay it and stop complaining. Theres a reason I love playing golf here and leaving directly afterwards!

I have a membership here and i must say that the staff are very polite and the ground staff are really doing a great job by making sure that their greens, fairways and bunkers are up to standard. I really enjoy the food at the halfway-house; however the driving range is just right of hole 11 and driving range balls can often be mistaken for ones go
