They are horrible in email and even worse on the phone. The actual offices are closed. No point trying to go there in person. I sent them everything they requested and my application was cancelled because I didnt send what they requested, yet the responded to me acknowledging receipt. Im no longer sure what email is from a human and what email is from a bot

Very bad service indeed.I have been calling for the past 5 days and the only person I get to talk to is the one who is meant to put me through to another office and I get to hold the phone till I hang up.They should consider the fact that airtime is very expensive and I have to use 200 Rands airtime just for poor service.

Horrible service!!!!!!!!!!I have been trying to communicate with SAQA for over a month now with no luck. I have not even received an acknowledgement email for my application. To make things worse the phone does not even get answered by anyone when I call.Very disappointing.

Took SAQA 1 month to respond to an email (quote included) after I paid them, the fee was deposited back into my account. I tried again and the same result. No phone or email response either. We employ people who laze around and only do work if they feel like it. Well done. Were struggling to get jobs and when we do our government is incompetent in helping us keep them.

My daughter has been waiting for he Evaluated Docuengs for 3 months now, her registration be terminated now if she doesnt bring those documents. We call everyday and even go to the office only to blocked from entry. What must be done?

I caught in the system for over 10 days, no response at all.Simple emails are not being answered.Update: it has been 4 months since I filed an application, simple pdf can not be opened by the over qualified staff at SAQA. I am not sure who runs this circus, but this is beyond amusing. My bank has started a procedure to return the application fee.

I applied online attached all documents on 22 July 2021 till now no response. Their office phones are not answered and they dont respond to emails. I Have gone their physically and security doesnt allow any body to enter. unfortunately we dont an alternative and university registering deadlines are passing us. Does anyone care that they are ruining our careers?

SAQA is a joke! Really! Too bad theyre a government organization. They NEVER EVER answer any of their 4 office numbers when we call and we only get AUTOMATED responses over email. This has been going on for 5 months. We cant get anywhere with your verification. I personally dont think any of the people in that office are doing their job... LIKE, AT ALL!

Details to apply for verification are quite clear on the website, unfortunatly that is where it ends. Completed the forms and sent request for quote over two weeks ago. They do not reply to emails, nor do they answer the various telephone numbers. Visited their premises on Monday and was told by the security guard that the offices are closed and that staff have been working from home since COVID restrictions started over a year ago!

Poor attitude at reception, not friendly at all. Rest of the staff members are fine and collection process was fairly quick. Parking is along the road side.

Ive been waiting for over two weeks for a quotation response. I havent even received an automated reply that my email was sent through. I have been emailing and asking for assistance and soon as you call youre on hold and redirected to a number that isnt available. Im extremely disappointed.

Sat on hold for 30 minutes trying to find out when I will receive my quote. Eventually They answered the phone, got redirected twice and then the third time no one answered and the line went dead. Honestly such a joke, used to be able to get it done in about 30 minutes at DHET now takes 2 weeks.

Terrible service, payment system doesnt work. Then when finally payment is able to be made, they come back a few days later and ask for ANOTHER payment for a third party to evaluate my USA MBA. Isnt that their job? As a matter of principle I will take this as far as is needed.

Ive been trying to get a simple degree verification letter for over a month now! How unprofessional, they dont even have reference numbers or atleast automated responses, if you dont call you wont get assistance. I was told I can only be assisted through email, how great of our government!!! Wow!

Very bad reaction time! I have submitted a simple question on Wednesday, 02 January 2018 and I am still awaiting an answer...UPDATE:I have finally received an answer from SAQA, after 10 days of waiting. The answer was very concise so I really cant complain about their final reaction.

Just like other public services you cannot expect a very top class service but i can say that they are better than many other public organisations. I read some bad reviews before, but the service I received was very good, staff were polite and helpful and I cannot complain at all.Upon on your arrival there is a scanner that makes sure you are not armed. then you will be directed to the section that you have to visit. generally it is quick. Before go there please look at the site, register yourself, pay the amount and go with all the required documentations.

Be warned that they make you pay a fee upfront of over R1000 for an evaluation of a foreign certificate and then tell you to pay overseas institutions in foreign currency to verify documents. They do not evaluate original certificates! And then refuse to refund even though no evaluation is done.

I have had a very bad experience with SAQA. I made my application and paid the required fees in November last year but I have not received the feedback up to now. I have paid money and I need to get value for the money I paid. The delayed response has also affected my plans to apply for study at a University in South Africa and I therefore intend to study in other countries. I will be most grateful if I can have my money refunded.

Wow I paid R1900 and they told me I would hear from them after 15 working days.After 15 days they sent me an email saying they have closed the file for my qualification As verification payment to the institution was not made😡..what nonsense is this?

Not professional at all.....got to the collections desk and sat there while the two ladies wr busy watching some skits and laughing....and only called me after they were done with their skits....their smiles vanished as soon as they started attending to me.

I waited on hold for over 10 minutes twice, and 30 minutes again and still couldnt get any help. I ended up hanging up cause I could see that I was not gonna get any assistance. Ive sent my documents 3 weeks back but I havent received anything from them. SAQA is failing and should take everything back to DHET.

I have paid r1683 for medium priority to get foreign qualifications evaluation on 5 August 2016 and its now 2 months and some weeks without communication!!! Your office has confirmed receipt of my money but i havent received my certificate yet. When i try to call i am told your office is busy everytime by a programmed message and I really dont know whats going on. I have complained by email but noone to my rescue. Can someone assist me out there? I am worried
