Chicken was bleak and under cooked. When I brought this under the chefs attention. He argued with me on how long he had it in the oven. I then told him then there must be something wrong with the oven. I didnt appreciate the fact that he was trying to prove me wrong....whilst most of the groups chicken were returned to the kitchen uneaten.

I got married here to the love of my life.They went out of their way for us.The food was great and the staff was amazing.Guys if you want to get married here is a cool place

We didnt venture through to the wedding venue side but seeing/smelling their plated food when walking past the kitchen left me quite impressed. HOWEVER I was very underwhelmed by their smaller venue and the breakfast Buffet they served there. There were leaves lying everywhere which obviously isnt their fault but surely they should have been swept up before hosting an event on the wooden deck. The buffet breakfast wasnt great quality (not bad either though to be fair), the food was dished for us and there was an extremely limited choice of food (bacon, eggs, toast and a mushroom chakalaka type dish) with poor presentation.

I got married here on 27 July and it was an amazing experience. Gerdrie and her team were great from beginning to end. The food, the atmosphere and the decor was superb.I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for an intimate venue.

The venue looks beautiful but I am not sure if the floor was clean or not or was it how it is. The conference room was extremely cold which made concentrating a bit difficult. The tea and coffee which was served in the morning didnt help as it was cold. In general the.place is not bad at all

Nice space for lodging, but also candle light dinners, events and meeting. The self-catering rooms are great for students or even long-term visitors. In a quiet environment.

Its a smaller venue for weddings but the food was delicious and the ambiance delightful. I believe it would be well suited to a small or medium function. An extra bonus was that there are card facilities at the cash bar which is always a great thing in my books.

Lovely garden and water features with stow away cornors for privacy, friendly staff and great coffee. Very peaceful and enjoyable. Also very close to Tshwane District hospital so easy to wait here, away from city noises. Loved it.

Absolutely fell in love with this place - simple, classic, fresh, neat, clean, vintage, relaxed and intimate. Definitely a must! Lovely rooms, simple dining area and refreshing tea garden. Quite a dream for all those who love the rustic style!

Sorry, but worst place ever. Get there after over seven hours driving, very hungry, get told restaurant is catering for a golf dinner....could of told us this before!!!!! We would have gone some where else! We ordered pizza delivered, said she would get us drinks from bar if needed....eight oclock said thats it, Im going to bed now....um...we guests yeah? Good thing we bought our own!!!!! Quoted us a price, we paid, then said no, that was for one room!!!!! Rooms smelt so bad like fart!!!! Was horrid! Would not recommend ever!!!!! We call it the Bates Motel!!!

I guess sort of OK but nothing really to write home about. Needs a Proper DJ to fade in and out songs. The bar really needs some work, and what I drank did not match the label.

Beautiful place. Going to have my wedding here and the staff are all very committed to customise it to our liking. There restaurant is just as perfect.

A long term firm favourite of ours. Absolute tranquility, service is slow, but that is what you need, because it is really a place to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful garden setting.

Relationship of 10 years ended today. Walked in at 14h30 with a guest and was told theres no space inside as preparations for a small function were being made. Also immediately reminded that closing time is 16h00. What a letdown 😞
