Bontle at reception is so welcoming and accommodative. She arranged the executive suite for us to no additional cost and is kind and professional.Its unfortunate the Spa is completely closed. Wish to visits again when its open. Minor maintenance also required to upkeep this beautiful property.

The ladies at the reception have a bad attitude and they don’t know customer service.. I will never book at this hotel again and will even not recommend it to people..The owner of this hotel must do them selves a favour and hire new staff, Mmathabo and other ladies at the reception are going to bring your business down!!!

The hotel is severely under staffed. We had to wait at reception for quite sometime before being attended to.The lady at reception has to check in guests, check that rooms are ok and be the waitress at breakfast.Its rated 4 star hotel and it was not a 4 star experienceThe rooms was massive, clean and beautiful.

Personally not a massage person so I got my partner a session because hes been complaining about back tension and he loved it. I live for food and the malva pudding was to die for. Great staff service.

Friendly helpful staff who could not do enough to make our stay pleasant. We were a wedding party of 12 and they set up table in dining area for all our meals..the friendly attention given by staff was amazing. Well done!!Only problem there was no tv available in downstairs bedrooms.

Amazing place to stay. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We used the hotel to dress and get our bridal party ready for our daughters wedding. They also spent their first night there. The staff went out of their way to make it really special.

This hotel has the potential to be a top hotel. One can see that it is quite new judging by the finishes and style. Rooms are spacious and quite comfortable. Our experience however was not that great. Total lack of communication betwen staff.We orderedearly breakfastwhich was confirmed at the time of booking. Sadly, we did not get it. Our ooking was also paid upfront and on arrival reception did not know this. Thare are a couple of design faults. Toilet does not have an extractor in it. Shower glass walls does contain the water which in turn foods some of the bathroom floor. Shower also does not have any shelves or soap holders.The bath is nice as it is open to the bed area with a nice view.There seemed to be unfinished painting of pasaagewallsand water stains on the carpets. The Spa area was deserted and not functioning and not communicated.Breakfast was good and the pool area is excelent. Fix the finer details and train front of house and you could vet 5 stars.

Not bad for Pretoria Rest but expected more

I booked one night at the hotel and a spa for me and my sister for her 30th birthday. When I phoned the spa a week in advance to book our treatments, I explained that we will be there two hours early to relax in the warm water baths/jacuzzi before our treatments. When we got there we were not welcomed and given gowns like other spa’s do, they just told us that the jacuzzi has been broken for three weeks so there are no warm water relaxation options for us, when I asked the lady why she did not tell me that the week before when I booked the treatments, she pretended that she was not the one I spoke to, it was winter time so we had to leave, sit in the hotel for two hours and then go back.I Booked a hydrating facial, but was also pregnant at the time, and during my facial, it felt like my face was washed two times and after that I received a face, shoulder and head massage for the facial time, and at the end Of the facial she put moisturizer on. My problem is that we pay so much money to have the spa experience. Even though the massage was relaxing, I would prefer the salon informing me that the facial I chose has too many unsafe ingredients for a pregnant person, and then I would have the opportunity to pick another treatment. I paid R580 for a face wash and moisturizer and face and head massage. And the spa prices are usually more expensive so the clients can enjoy the atmosphere and facilities, which we did not due to the dishonesty of the salon.

Was there for a meeting in a conference room. Did had parking on the premises and had to park outside on a pavement. Finding the specific location of the room was also a bit of a battle - reception wasnt really helpful. Not really a good experience.
