Worst service I’ve received in my life. We wanted to host a bachelorette party which I communicated to the manager telephonically (confirming 3 times). A payment was made approx. 2 months in advance. I phoned the manager 18 days before the event, wanting to confirm if everything thing was in order. She then replied that I never made her aware that we are going to have a function ‘bachelorette party’ and that there will be a theme for the party. She continued saying that I never informed her about the number of people going (which I did several times and I mentioned I will give her the exact number closer to the date). We then discussed that I should send her an email with the exact amount of people and the type of event/function. This was done to ultimately receive an updated quote which we were willing to pay.We phoned the next day, where she went off on me and the mother of the bride to tell us that we are the most disorganised people she has worked with and that her ‘world renowned’ venue does not need people like us. Note that this was said 17 days ahead of the event.Be aware, do not pay upfront and communicate via email to keep track of the correspondence. The manager’s story changed every time and we did not have any communication to go back to.We got paid back and now need to search all over again!!!

Terrible service! Made a bad judgment by giving a reference for Brooklyn’s Crown.

We had the pleasure of staying at Brooklyn’s Crown for a night. I can highly recommend this upmarket establishment to all avid travelers and lovers of beautiful things. Here you can enjoy luxurious accommodation in a superb setting amongst the trees in the leafy suburb of Brooklyn. Erma is the hostess of dreams - going above and beyond to make guests feel at home, while they enjoy their privacy. She has created a perfect setting for relaxation, comfort and luxury. We’ll be back very soon to experience more of Brooklyn’s Crown and all its beauty.Thanks Erna and team!

We loved the guesthouse. The room was clean and comfortable. Very spacious. You can watch your own DSTV shows on the smart TV (dstv-now). Its close to the university and we felt very safe. Will definitely stay there again.

Worst stressed-full experience ever dealing with Brooklyn Crown. Venue manager Cancelled my daughter’s bachelorette overnight-stay booking 18 days prior to the date of function ,accusing myself and the maid of honour of not being ‘transparent’ in our discussion for our plans for the evening in question, although an detailed email was send 18 days prior to planned event to manager and basic quote was paid in full. a Request for additional costs was stated from our side in our final e mail. This resulted in frantically seeking alternative venue at this last hour prior to event as we have guests flying from Cape town that needs to be accomodated. Full refund was received, however still leaving me with a big last minute dilemma. Very unprofessional for a so called ‘world renowned establishment’

The World renowned party planner . What a joke statement.She just cancelled our fully paid accommodation 2 weeks prior to the event.She claims that she does not enjoy hosting bacherlotte functions as the past weekend they trashed her place, but yet her website clear states she host bacherlotte parties. If you didnt enjoy it, why advertise and WHY take my money!!She probably made a double booking....now we get the short end of this stick.Best way to deal with this lady is to make sure everything is on email. She says one thing on a phone call but will quickly kick you to the curb should it fit her.We received our money back, but now we are pressed for time to find alternative accommodation.

What a wonderful weekend. Incredibly peaceful atmosphere, units equipped with great care. Would highly recommend it.
