Friendly efficient service and well stocked.

It makes me sad to write a negative review especially about a Manager whos supposed to be an example to his hard working staff members, however, the truth should be told. My husband and I were buying the Salomon Alphacross Takkies that were on special at CUM: The Grove Mall. One pair was found easily from the back but with the other pair, only one takkie could be found. We waited and waited while the three other assistants were trying to find this mysterious shoe. The Manager, Mr R was just not interested at all in this effort. Tried to make a conversation with him, couldnt even look at me. He couldnt even pretend as if he cares about us. Strange enough he was so nice and keen to help other people coming to the shop. This was very disturbing especially if something like that happens right in front of you and I hate pulling a race card but Mr R must really change his attitude. It stinks. We are also customers and we should be treated with dignity. I really felt that our rights were violated as customers. The takkie was never found but again, an assistant came to our rescue and searched for the pair in other CUM stores. She found one in Woodlands Mall. We got there and look for Sebastian that we were referred to. What a warm welcome. Sebastian kept the pair for us. We were served with love, respect and appreciation! I also understand that Mr R couldve been going through a lot of pressure because of the sale and new stock coming in at the shop but please Mr R, avoid reputational damage and minimise the risk of financial mis-selling in order to improve customer retention. I didnt expect you to run and look for the missing shoe but to know that youre listening was just ONE thing I badly wanted.

I have to add to my original rating. Generally Cape Union Mart service is great and they have always looked after me. Yet, I am absolutely blown away by the excellent service from this CUM branch, which I received today again. Thank you to Lebogang, Lennard, Tsepo and the rest of the team. Their level of commitment to service and customer satisfaction is exemplary.Original: Always great service. Love this brand.

Sadly my experience was not as great as previous customers. Nobody greeted us, infact we had to ask someone behind the counter to assist.Anyway, we were looking for pants pretty standard & asked if they had in stock first answer was no. When we said we had looked online and they specified low quantity but that they had stock. I had to go online to show the pants and store assistant still couldn’t find it.Eventually we just started pillaging through stock and found it, paid and left.It really is a shame I was expecting so much more but I guess we got the pants so it’s a win - I just won’t be back.

Good Day. Want to please let the store in The Grove know. We where there on Saturday afternoon. My husband wanted to buy a jacket. (I bought one previously). So I bought another one, LOL. Our service that we got was excellent. They greeted us when we walked in. I tried on a jacket and did not understand how it zipped. Gentleman by the name of Efford I think helped me. When we bought the 2 jackets he told us about the shampoo we must use to wash the jackets with. And before he packed the jackets in he showed me the small bags is also in the pockets to fold jackets up. Service was 10 out of 10. Thank you.
