I have been buying biltong here for almost every week for over a year - 2 years. In this time Ive noticed a general lack of care and a huge drop in quality. I have been given dry wors so wet that I had to continue drying it myself at home, cabanosie so dry that I almost broke a tooth and biltong so tough that I just threw it away countless times. To the point were I can no longer stomach the idea of buying biltong here anymore.They have a nice variety of wors though. Which is probably the only thing Id want to buy from this shop in the future if I ever visit it again.Edited to be fair.

Expert blockmen, make you feel very welcome no matter how busy they are.Friendly ,efficient service, and their meat is legendary,especially the biltong.Do yourself a favour and pop in for a visit.

When in the area I just have to stop and get some biltong, but today they suggested I also try some of their Pizza Wors, yes Pizza Wors. Now I must honestly admit that this was the best wors I have ever tasted. I can recommend this to every one. Will be back on Monday for more.Well done guys.

A touch on the expensive side, but....the meat is really good here and the service impeccable. The staff will get to you quickly and go out of their way to provide what you ask for. A most pleasant shopping spree which has you buying more than you needed because it is all so good. A stop outside for a prego roll is a must.

You cannot find better quality and service. Been buying meet here for over 8 years. You can eat the steak with a spoon it is so soft. My brother only visits if I buy biltong.The bad reviews are related from the same event. I would like to know how they ascertained it was the lamb, did they not eat anything else, did they test the lamb. They need to also remember that if you buy a lamb dont buy it a month before the time and leave it in your car.... Sorry I just cannot believe it.Keep doing what your doing. Your meat is legendary.

Have been buying from Toits for the past 8 years. Meat always fresh and excellent quality. Find the 2 very negative reviews regarding people getting sick after spit braai very unfair. If lamb is off you are going to taste it. The normal culprit where something like this happens is one of the salads. Typically potato or something else with mayonnaise. Just saying, unless there is absolute proof its a stretch to blame meat.

What a disappointment to say the least. We made use of Toits Vleismark to order a spitbraai for a work function held on the 5th of December 2015. The spitbraai was collected and and as soon as we set up the spitbraai the rotatory gave us hassles. One of the organizers called Toits and explained the issue and they replied that they will send a new braai. This never materialized. Nerveless to say 30+ people that attended the function got food poisoning from the lamp and most have been booked of work until this Thursday. I will not recommend buying meat from this company if you are happy to stay healthy.
