What they don’t show you on their website is that the hotel has direct residential neighbours in the estate so forget about great views out the your room’s window. You’re woken up by noise from tennis players just outside your room; the golf course is private property so you can’t even stretch your legs; the pool is a splash pool. It’s like you’re visiting a relative somewhere in Pretoria. The rooms & friendly staff are the only exciting thing about this hotel

We spent five weeks here for the second time in three years. And while our stay wasnt prefect, Nicholas and his staff went above and beyond to make it as comfortable and accommodating as possible. The estate is beautiful and the clubhouse and family park next door are perfect for meals and kids. Highly recommended.

It is absolutely Amazing, they have exclusive suites, there is a mini bar. There are aircons in the rooms, a television, a couch and a mini kitchen. The views are beautiful and the staff is friendly. They offer all you can eat breakfast buffet and lunch with a beautiful view of the pool. The security is tight because the hotel is in a golf estate.

Its a gem of a place. Although it is situated in Silver Lakes inside the Golf Estate in Pretoria, it feels like one is elsewhere. Its also one of the few pet friendly hotels around

Great hotel in the heart of the Silverlakes security estate.Service is excellent and so are the rooms. The new addition on the east side is great. Parking is ample and the welcoming is sincere. Very flexible with times. Modern and fresh rooms with nice decor.Can only be recommended.

Wasnt too impressed with the Classic room. TV size is very small. Also aircon in that room was old and didnt cool the place adequately. Other than that really enjoyed the food and quietness. Very relaxing!

Constantly waking up by the tennis players, who might as well tell you starts at 5.30 a.m. to see 6 a.m., no privacy, we stayed there for 5 months, a lot of our clothes have gradually disappeared, my daughter had a piggy bank with it 250 euros inside, also missing, a very unfriendly owner, who hardly says hello, on the other hand puts the package there when it is expatriate people belonging to the embassy because a lot of money. Honestly it is not worth the price, we did not have much choice because of the situation, the only positive point, the reception staff pleasant, be very careful with your money and your valuables because without you realize this, they can disappear as if by magic.

In the middle of the Silver Lakes Golf Estate is the boutique lodge, very nicely furnished, very nice suites, with 2 floors, living room, kitchen and bedroom upstairs, and numerous balconies or terraces.Very nice staff at the reception, breakfast monotonous but ok. However, I would like more attention to be paid to the service .. I had to refill my coffee more often. Otherwise all good. Next to the house are tennis courts that belong to the Golf Estate but can be booked without any problems. They are often visited and have not used them. A few meters away, Club House is within walking distance and there is also a good place to eat.Once we ate in the hotel restaurant but had the impression that they were overwhelmed and not expected. The food was ok. We therefore recommend the restaurant in Club.The small pool is more of a decoration.All in all, the lodge is highly recommended, very well maintained.
