The lodge is so well taken care of. The staff are working hard to give us the best service, very friendly as well. The room are beautiful and spacious. The food they serve is always delicious and well presented. We love it there

We booked a room to celebrate our 25th year anniversary celebration after redoing our vows. Tumelo ensured we were given the honeymoon suite and made sure we were given the royal treatment from arrival to departure. Our room was decorated in rose petals with complimentary wine, rose bouquet and chocolates! We loved the room! The dinner prepared was superb! And breakfast the next morning was out of this world! Lovely spa treatments at the spa on site!

Was quite disappointed even afyer rwsing negative reviews I decided to give it a chance.The room was not what was advertised on the package I booked.They offered no towels to us.The patio had no chairs and table as it should.I was poorly disappointed for giving them a chance.I wasted my money shame.

We had the best service EVER!!! We spend 2 nights there celebrating our 6 years anniversary. Malibu staff, especially Puseletso she made our night the best night ever...setting up a surprise dinner outside for us . Positives: Lovely place with beautiful pool and wildlife roaming. Friendly staff who greeted us with a smile. Negatives:The bed and bedding feels old, we had no cutlery and the internet wasnt working. Theres also a stuffy smell in the room and the rooms are not soundproof (we could hear our neighbors voices, TV and bath running) Would I come back again? Yes,this place is perfect for coming in groups or with your extended family. Malibu Country Lodge is beautiful, the owners just need to pay attention to small details and give the rooms the TLC they need to improve the overall customer experience.

Never felt such happiness while away from home. On the 5th of February it was my birthday Malibu team decided to make my birthday so special 🥰🤭 they bought me birthday Cakes and I celebrated my birthday with joy. Thank you Malibu team for making me feel so special.

The place needs some maintenance. The doors are not closing properly, the fridge is full of ice, the long grass at the playground how are the kids supposed to play there!Its in the middle of summer and the pool by the playground is not cleaned. This would make a wonderful place if it gets some TLC.

Lodge is located in a lively area, but the service from the place isnt too awesome. Firstly our bed didnt have linen and the mattress was so dirty and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The breakfast didnt have a variety of options and offered very few items. The kitchen staff is great but housekeeping needs so much improvement. The noise levels at this place when there are visitors hosting parties is too much. Parking spots are limited especially when the place is fully booked which is also a huge challenge when staying here.

Guests were taken care of and the place is safe. It ahead to covid 19 regulations and nice place to be.

It was much more than what I expected!!! The staff was so so accommodating and they listen to instructions very well!Pool, and braai facilities was very good! Accommodation and Spa was the best!This place deserves another star 🌟

They decorated the room while we were out, they made special arrangements for us. Prepared a special dinner for us and congratulated us with utmost sincerity.This lodge is wonderful, please dont hesitate to go there. Very peace and naturally beautiful place.

Not a fancy place nor is there alot to do on the premises itself so its important who you go with and what activities you bring along. Else you can do activities at the Cullinan which is very pricey

Staff members do not wear masks at all. No towels in rooms. The aircon in the room did not work. No fridge in room. Asked prior if the lodge is wheelchair friendly, only to get to the lodge and realize that they are not wheelchair friendly.Would not recommend the lodge

Beautiful surroundings and nice rooms. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Gave them 3 stars coz the rooms could be a little cleaner. Our couch was stained and so was the bed cover on one side. When we moved the bar fridge to access the plugs the floor behind and under was very dirty. Looks like someone forgot to sweep there. The tub needs a tough up as it was very scratched and dirty so had to use the shower to bath. With those slight improvements I do recommend the place for some time off to relax with nature.

The service was good. Warm welcome by the ladies and I particularly enjoyed the welcome drink and snacks.

We enjoying our stay in Malibu. Ever since we got here weve recieved best service even today Saturday Puseletso came for us with giving us ice requested in a short period of time. She literally ran for us. Her costumer service is the best. We would definitely recommend Malibu to anyone.

My stay at Malibu was nothing short of amazing. the staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure my husband and i had the best of the best , from the superior room, to a surprise lunch for two out on our patio and romantic setup in our room, the staff really outdid themselves. The chef is really good, we thoroughly enjoyed all meals, especially the breakfast. the spa treatment was a first for my husband and he couldnt stop raving about it. Rejoice was my masseuse and she paid careful attention to detail when applying her skills with her healing hands. i would mention them all by name but i am afraid i will leave someone out, everyone was friendly and hard working. Thank you Malibu.

This place has alot of improvements to make honestly, my first time going there , the bedding smelt like Urine , second they dont change the bedding !? Got bitten by bed bugs , no towels the carpet smells . Other then that the staff was very polite and friendly, just did not like what was recommended on the buffet.

I treated my friend for her birthday with a breakfast and full body massage. The staff was extremely friendly and the food quality was good and tasty. Compliments to Rejoice & Bianca from the Spa. They used the perfect pressure and the atmosphere was soothing and very calming.The quality of the treatment that is coupled with the sheer warm, friendly and respectful staff makes the Spa an absolute must.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and well equipped. Security was good. The only suggestion I would have is a solution to taking a shower in the bathtub causing the water to spray all over the floor.

Feel like a new baby

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. From reception, Styler was so friendly and warm. Andrew and Henry took care of all our needs, from the venue and ensuring we had everything we need to the food. The food was very good, well cooked and hearty. Rose took great care of the rooms for us, ensuring all rooms where upto standard. The manager Micheal was on standby and readily available for assistance.We had an amazing time and plan on coming back again.

We found Malibu to be the perfect escape for those that want to get of the hustle of Gauteng for a few days. Our experience was definitely one to remember. We enjoyed a very quite stay which is what we needed to recharge. The staff was excellent, the food very tasty, the spa was tranquil and relaxing, the service out of this world. We will definately visit again.

The rooms were never cleaned or stocked up.Smells like Paint. The people cleaning the garden was making noise and there were no cutlery or plates to make food.After asking for cutlery nothing happened.The Wifi work for less than a minute.
