I have been going to this studio for many years, 6 years to be exact. and am always pleased with the experience of having my nails done. They send a reminder of the appointment, which is an awesum feature.Staff are friendly, chatty If you feel like chatting, quiet if You dont.The products are really good quality. My nails stay shiny like glass, for at least 3 to 4 weeks. Stones normally stay on too.Atmosphere is nice, trendy music and modern decor.

Ive been doing my nails here for about 1,5 years ( their nails arent even that good but I stayed for convenience) and the staff -particularly the receptionists- have always been unwelcoming, aloof and somewhat classist and ageist. The most recent encounter quite frankly was the last straw. I called the salon for an enquiry, received sour attitude from the receptionist, eventually asked her to email me the details that were on her computer screen because I was driving and she blatantly refused. She insisted that I email her first but she could have just copy-pasted that info into a mail while I relayed my email address on the spot. The service my friends and I have received on multiple occasions is atrocious. So atrocious I had to write this review.

Would definitely NOT RECOMMEND to ANYONE!!! Very unprofessional and training not up to industry standards. Extremely disappointed.

I have been going to Velena since they have opened.Yesterday, I took my mom for the first time.When making the booking she told them that she wants a blue ombre and that the nail technition must be able to do it.When we came in for the appointment, the technition didnt know how to do it and another jumped in to try and do it. Much to our disappointment as it looks like a toddler played with cutex.I have gotten amazing ombres there.Please train your girls!!This is not acceptable!
