Their food definitely not worth the money when ordering on Mr. Delivery. Bough a chicken schnitzel and Veg, the chicken was SUPER HARD and dry. Had such trouble cutting through the Chicken. What a waste of money. Would Definitely give ZERO stars.

Always a good vibe and the prices are student friendly, my only issue is the toilets. I hope theyll fix them quick if they havent already. They need a whole new makeover, from the toilets themselves to the lighting to the hygiene aspects. But i havent been to them in a while (avoiding them) so I hope theyre fixed.

Food is really amazing, and amazingly cheap, love ordering from them and enjoying at home. Also food always hot when we got home, so no eating chips that is cold like with most fast food places.

Very affordable drinks,staff was horrible and even pushed me out of the way and off a chair to clear way for other people. I was in the bar and was being treated worse than the people waiting outside. They yelled and were acting as if there jobs made them superior to everyone. The vibe and DJ was amazing though and really made it worth while. It was so stuffy and hot though I could only stay for an hour

Although the prices are very student friendly, I waited over 50 minutes for a simple R22 burger and chips. When I complained to one of the stuff, he went behind for over 10 minutes. I only received the order after asking for my money back, which was an AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

Best affordable burgers! Their food is amazing and they always have ongoing specials. I discovered this gem on Mr.D and they are a daily hit now. And the fried chicken is better than KFCs. Love love love their food. The only suggestion I would want to make is the fried chicken for delivery should maybe be put in a paper bag and then in the polystyrene container. I ordered fried chicken and it literally burnt a hole on top and the bottom of the polystyrene container lol BUT it was FLIPPEN lekker! Keep up the great quality of food!

If you order a takeaway at least be ready to wait more than a hour because everyone will get served before you. Absolute waste of time and terrible service. Definitely wont go back

Springboks is my favourite place, and I bring all my mates there now because the burgers are INCREDIBLE, and theres a lot more than just the burgers. the music vibe is also great, just go peeps, its the best place in Pretoria.

The burgers are dope! The chips are dope. BUT there is one woman there who is soooooo unpleasant. I dont wanna call her racist but yoh her actions speak for themselves. Ill leave it at that. Big ups to the chef though. Im coming back for the burger!

Wouldnt be let in as a friend lost his licence and only had his student card, even though we have been regulars there for 4 years (so according to the current manager it means you have you been serving underage people for 4 years then). The (huge) female manager is full of ..... Reappoint Crystal. Just to add fuel to this fire, (though it doesnt bother me),there is no enforced non-smoking area.

I really really love this bar!Their food is cheap, tastes great and it is always fresh. Their portions are big and they have daily food specials. My absolute favourite is their cheeseburger and chips for under R30! They also do take aways.Their drink specials are really good and alcohol is not very expensive there in general. The bartenders and waiters are very friendly and service is prompt. You get your orders very quickly.The bar can be quite loud due to the music and because it is a student hang out, so the crowd is very young later in the evening.They a have weekly quiz night which is always fun!Would definitely recommend for a quick bite to eat or a night out!

Love the atmosphere. Their specials are unbeatable (R35 for a large chicken snitchel with mushroom sauce and chips on Mondays!) and their staff are helpful. Look out for their variety of Jam Jars and definitely order some of their chips.

Good food at a real good price plus they have daily specials which are always a treat. Often have drinks specials as well which is always a winner. Only complaint would be with the waiters - it sometimes takes a very long time for someone to bring menus etc or Id have to call someone to come wait the table. Other than that pretty good.

Liquor has always negative results dont try convince me

The food is decent and the service as well. The music is average and there is a jukebox you can play from. A small room with 2 pool tables. The vibe is a bit specific, but not very. Some like it others dont. Its worth trying.

Its a nice place to hang out at. You can play pool or just have a nice drink. One of the few places I know that still has a jukebox. It always has a lively atmosphere. Yesterday in particular I found the bartenders extremely rude though. I have gone to this place many times and I do encounter this problem specifically when they are more interested in talking to one another instead of assisting you. But once you have your drink you can relax. You can also get delicious meals here.

They call themselves a sports bar, but kick everybody out 10 minutes before the end of the Man Utd vs Liverpool game. Worst place to go to if you want to enjoy a good drink and a sports game.

A great place to grab a cold one with a friend and eat a proper meal. They have a large selections of food and very friendly workers. I would recommend going to them any day of the week as they have different specials everyday!

Found bar tenders rude and unhelpful. If you enjoy sitting in a smoke filled non smoking area then this is the place to go. Patrons openly smoke in clearly demarkated non smoking areas but management appears to encourage this behaviour and supply ash trays in these non smoking areas.Have contacted dept of health in this regard.Not recommended for non smokers.

Very nice place to while out after a long day, or to even start your night off. Always have had good service among staff. Pricing is also affordable for meals and drinks

A local bar that students enjoy to relax at. My friends often times get together there. Reason for three stars? The area around it can be a bit unnerving and like most bars it can get quite crowded on busy nights. My over all experience was not bad, but it was not great either. Maybe Im just not a bar kind of guy.

The first pub I visited in Pretoria and I have returned a few times since moving here! Awesome atmosphere, the waiters arent too serious or persistently bothering you, but remain on top of their game. They have amazing specials - drinkwise and foodwise. My personal favourite is their Chicken Snitchels (Mondays before 18h00) and their everyday drink specials (can someone say JamJar?)

Food is decent. But the majority of the female staff are super racist. One extremely unpleasant girl I asked about the way she treats her customers told me to not come back or else she’ll spit in my food herself. Horrible horrible horrible. I think the owners should reconsider the type of people they employ. And this was not the first time I’ve seen her threaten people like this. I honestly don’t know how she’s still there. Must have something to do with white privilege.
