Good selection of baking goods, spices and general food stuffs. Staff are generally helpful. Pricing is fair. Great place if you want to stock up on pantry essentials.

The girlfriend liked the place. Place looks like a proper baking shop, lots of quality products and ingredients to choose from. Plenty of decorative premade edible shapes and characters for muffins and cakes. Their rusk baking trays with cutters were the best price we could find.

It was my first time going to this shop, everything you need for your baking its there at a reasonable price.and am happy with the customer service they gave me.

I love visiting Bakers Bin, Garsfontein. They generally have the stock I require and are very helpful in acquiring products which may not be available. Friendly and courteous service by their staff.

I was really looking forward to going here because of the good reviews, but I was quite disappointed. There was no help offered and I had to find everything myself. Im a regular baker, but I dont really decorate or do intricate icing, so I didnt know what I really needed. I figured everything out but I didnt know which piping bags to get for the tip that I chose. I approached a cashier and she basically ignored me. She eventually turned to me and just pointed when I asked about the bags. I went and figured it out myself and came back to pay. I asked if they accept cards and she just nodded. It was incredibly uncomfortable and doesnt make me want to return. I did get everything I needed, but it could have been far more pleasant. The men packing the shelves did greet and were friendly at least.

Great products and great service! Good prices on all kinds of seeds. I bought some spice from them a while ago, put it into a glass jar, and threw away the packet. A month later, I wanted to get some more but couldnt remember what spice it was. So I took some left-over in my glass jar and tried to match it up with the spices on their shelves. I asked one of the employees to help, and pretty soon 3 of them came and all helped me find the correct one (quite difficult since one cant open the new pack of spice to compare). They assisted me well and I was able to find the spice I was looking for again. By the way, its the Steak and Chops spice. Well worth a try!

They definitely have more cookie cutters than Ive seen at other bakers bins. But their shelves arent as consumer friendly and not every thing is priced. I had trouble finding a couple of products, causing me to visit another Bakers bin

I would just like to commend the new owners of this store. What you’ve done in a short time to improve this store’s stock levels and staff service is amazing.I only see this store becoming better and better. I no longer have to travel far to get to the best baking stuff, I can now just go back to my favourite store.

Not a bad experience just didnt get all I needed and noone bothered to check for me which branch has the missing items I think the shops are competing on sales or something

A haven of happiness for the Baker, and I found the goods like nuts and other powders, at a hugely reduced price than the tiny little containers sold at grocery stores. Really worth a visit even if you dont bake.

By far the best place for baking goods. The ingredients and the equipment are very reasonably priced. They also have a few sweet that I havent found anywhere else.
