What great service!!! Just spoke to Schalk to get some prices on parts I needed , and he was so helpful. He even went over and above, sharing some tips I need to look out for and mentioned I can give him a call in future, if I need any other prices. Not every day you get such friendly service.

New premises seem larger. Hand sanitizing station at door, masks compulsory, and social distancing.marks at tills. Service counter is smaller, so more convenient.Note: New premises are across the road. There are no notices at the old premises, so look out for the Midas flags on the southern side of Garsfontein road.

The new location is much better than before. I come here for the excellent range and prices of the tools. Staff are friendly and very helpful here.Not sure about the prices. Its been a long time since I bought anything non trivial here. Midas has become a more expensive option in my opinion for car parts, so I normally go here as a second stop to get little things or out of stocks elsewhere. Used to be nr 1 but that was a good 5 years back, I think. But still a brand we need to support and keep around.

Very nice store. However no assistance or willingness to help at all from staff. No or very limited pricing on stock or on the shelves and when asked the reason is the store is still new. One would think that would be the exact reason why it should all be priced. The unhelpfull staff is going to cost the store.

Quite a big store with a wide variety of items on offer.

Recently revamped 2018 it is really much more inviting and easier to either shop alone or be assisted. Anything car related, service spares, accessories, car carpets, tools, outdoor lifestyle car related items and some leisure. Easy to park. Loads of stock. Good prices and good service with the ability to make relationships for easy buying. Good advise and suggestions.

On the 2nd of January 2020 my Citroen cambelt broke and I popped in at Midas Garsfontein. On arrival an employee by the name of Winston came to my rescue. Thou they didnt had the part in stock, he made a plan and made a few phone calls and acquired the part. He also made the workshop available for me available so that I can fit the belt myself. Thank you Winston for your quick and friendly service.

Its big and you find what you are looking for.

Bad customer service. I was looking for a part that seems to be having problems when it is not the original brand. They assured me that they will make sure the part is not faulty. We went there to pay the deposit for the part and went back later to collect the part, only to find it is giving the exact problem they promised it would not. It was also already painted and is not supposed to come out painted when new and the whole process wasted a lot of our time.

You can get what you need most of the time but you must know exactly what that is. Ideal location to get to quickly so you dont hand to drive out of your way.

The sales people are helpful, but you wait a little bit longer before you get the service.Theyre also not linked to other Midas outlets. This can be improved.

We were three customers in the shop, I waited for more than ten minutes, on of the sales people that was smoking outside while I was waiting got behind the counter, took his phone out and started texting. I left and bought my spares from Naskar across the road, they helped me immediately without any delays.

Not very impressed with service Agent he did not give BMW oil he recommended another brand which was expensive. The oil price are quite high compared to other Midas brands.... quite expensive. Cashier was friendly though

I bought a car battery last year they told me the battery have got one year guarantee and l also change it even if l dont have the slip they will help me, when l get there today they told me that l have to replace the starter then l charged my phone for few minutes to show them that the problem is the battery, they changed the statement they said they need the slip😢😢😔😔
