When will receptionists learn that eating lunch whilst on duty (and interacting with a client) completely ruins the first impressions of a company?? Unbelievable these people.. Sorry SMD, but my for visit will always be remembered by the incompetent, unprofessional behavior of your reception girls..

My first time wasnt pleasant at all customer service at the Pretoria Branch is poor especially the lady who was assisting me inside, I couldnt get her name she was more than rude the staff needs to be trained on how to treat clients they just hand you documents without telling you where to sign or fill in as if you will miraculously know

I really loved the service I got from SMD Pretoria but I regret buying a car there, after spending close to 30k on the car we discovered that the engine number was tempered with returned the car to SMD now they are doing back and forth on my inquiry, tried calling the head office but they are not assistingPlease assistSMD

The old lady needs to learn customer etiquette, she wants to throw her view in matters that dont even need her. Lets stick to what our job description is and earn our salary.....

Purchased a car online with mileage of 25000kms. Won the auction and then got access to the chassis number - verified that with Mercedes who happily confirmed that a service was performed at 85000kms. So the advertised mileage was falsified and the only salvageable pet of the car was the engine. When it was pointed out, SMD refused to accept responsibility and still charged a penalty for not going through with the purchase. NEVER AGAIN!Update: the car has been reposted on SMD with the same false mileage! The mileage was tampered with and brought to SMDs attention and nothing was done. It’s clear this was purposefully misleading information.

Always have friendly staff assisting to offload my cars.Fast service and never had any problems. The only issue i have something is that the yard is so full there is almost no space to offload the cars. Other than that its clean for a salvage yard

Very rude staff, from the gate onwards. I have purchased from many of the smd branches, but found the Pretoria and boksburg branches to be the worst so far. Rude staff and incompetent in their work!

Theres a lady called Margaret who gives the best customer service. Shes is amazing. Hope SMDs management acknowledged her for this. Theres been many times when I just got fed up and wanted to leave, but I would then get to her and she makes everything fine.

Had my car towed there after an accident and all my belongings were stolen. They give the run around after multiple calls. Leandrew in particular just sent an email saying theyve double checked and couldnt find anything. Mind you, they didnt ask for descriptions of the items, zero accountabilty. They refused to release my car after Ive even provided them with a release note, they came up with stupid stories to make it impossible to get my car back. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR TOWED THERE!!!!!!
