I am consistently impressed with the level of service, positive attitude and expert knowledge from this niche shop. Not only have they connected me to Frits de Groot, one of the best guitar tutors I have ever met, but also equipped me and repaired my equipment over the past 3 years. I just had my old Yamaha guitar repaired after a serious break and received an excellent repair and restringing job. Nothing is too small or too big for these guys!

I HIGHLY recommend purchasing from Mars Music in Pretoria. The staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my needs. They were able to special order items and I received them much faster than I thought. Wow! This place is so welcoming. Walked into the shop a month ago to buy a guitar box for my new Yamaha nylon string guitar. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I went back today to have my steel strings strings restrung and to buy a Yamaha for my mom. We experienced the same friendliness from the staff. I even walked out with a ukulele... both the guitar and ukelele are in immaculate condition and sound amazing! Thank you!

It is a great place with very informed staff. I went the first time to buy strings for classic guitars , then as I found other stuff with really informed staff I went again and bought a sufisticated microphone 🎤 which they spent lot of time trying it to make sure it works well as I was getting it overseas. If I need any device for music or other electronic equipments for voices mics or headphones, definitely I will go to them again
