It is a very cosy theatre. The refreshments are very good with a wide selection of cakes. Filtered coffee, teas, and soft drinks are also available. It also looks like there is a buffet lunch option.

Mozart Magic Flute is the best I ever heard. I love orchestra music. It takes you to places where you reflect about your life and enjoy every moment.

A fairly small theatre that is functional without extraneous bells and whistles. The majority of performances seem to be musical in nature (guest musicians, orchestra performances, and operas). There are better equipped theatres in Pretoria, but for a smaller community theatre the Brooklyn Theatre is great, and brings some much needed support for the arts to the city. There is a small attached restaurant, Café Artiste, which offers very good buffet meals on Sundays.

Love this little theatre. Privately run with great passion and a real treat for lovers of classical music, opera and musical theatre. Different shows every couple of weeks and a happy mix of local and international artists. Good Sunday carvery too before the 3pm matinee.

It was very pleasant experience! Food and service was excellent!! The My Fair Lady show was tops, Ive enjoyed it almost just as much as the movie. I saw the movie for 1st time In 1968 while still in school its my favourite movie ever!! Thanks. Just one problem we stay out in Heidelberg and a show that long should start at least 2pm we only came home after 8 with all the traffic. Thanks. Gerda Strydom

Good combination of theatre spaces devoted to art (small gallery area), great indoor and outdoor restaurant space for meals and snacks before a show, a music and ticket sales outlet within a few paces of the theatre. In all, certainly one of the best designed theatre and entertainment spaces in Pretoria. The theatre offers an intimate yet spacious interior, and generally local audiences support performances very well. Great asset to the city!

The family and I went to watch my fair lady, brilliant show by the cast, thoroughly enjoyed the play. Regrettably the restaurant is another businesses. After a fifteen minute search with the staff for our booking, it seemed they had lost the booking despite it being confirmed. Although the staff were willing to squeeze us in somewhere, it was already late and i did not relish the idea of being squeezed in like a sardine . So a great show, loses a star for the restaurant.

One of the best theatres in Pretoria. Usually has a good line up. The seats are comfortable and the acoustic of the theatre is extremely good. From the perspective of someone playing on the stage, the staff are all friendly and helpful. They know their craft and arent afraid to help. They work quickly and efficiently. The stage is relatively large for such a small theatre. The area around the theatre is nice as well, with good restaurants and eateries, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Nice establishment with a story behind it if you care to ask. A dream for craft beer lovers. Service can be a little slow once youre seated, but maybe that because the place can get pretty full. Will come back on numerous times, its just a perfect balance of variety and reasonable prices.

This is an excellent small venue that regularly presents productions of operas and musicals, and hosts concerts of mostly classical music, but sometimes other events as well. The music is always thoughtfully programmed, the performers well prepared and often artistically accomplished and imaginative, and the productions are great entertainment for people who are seasoned opera lovers as well as those who are brand new to the scene.

Love, love, love this intimate venue. Great productions. However, even though we pre-ordered and paid drinks for the recess, the restaurant missed placed our order which resulted in a fait amount of swearing from thr bar tender and the waitress screaming in my mothers face that she couldnt purchase something else. The waitress would find her drink ans she WILL have it.Very unprofessional to say the least and detracts greatly from an otherwise lovely experience.
