Very laid back. An interesting look: somewhere between being unkempt and unpretentious. The food was delicious. Somehow this was a wonderful moment away from the glossy hustle and bustle of the usual places. Will be there again soon.

Tina Skukan Gallery is nestled against the Bronberg, and when you are seated outside the coffee shop, youll find yourself underneath the green canopy of big, beautiful trees. The stoep of this old farm building is intriguingly decorated to make you feel right at home!! The big surprise lies in the HOME COOKED meals, cakes and tarts, served with great coffee, teas etc. The fireplace in the winter invites you right in, to sit down and order great soup with homemade bread!!!!! The gardens are well kept and there are interesting places to sit down and order. The 2 Galleries are always stocked with new exhibitions where people from as far as Australia place orders which are shipped to them. Tia is the charming owner and a absolutely great hostess - one of the best cooks I have ever met!! I love, love, love this beautiful GEM, where I can just relax and come to my senses!!!

Fair is simple but well presented and tasty.Art exhibitions are often held here in support of local artists.. there are a number of small galleries with some interesting local art on sale. The place is supervised by Rex and he is happy to explain the art on display. Well woth a visit in support of local artists.

The small Tina Skukan Art Gallery is a real gem. Its worth visiting very often as they change the exhibitions and installations on a monthly basis. The current Spring Equinox exhibition consists of various mixed media by artists such as Michele Nigrini, Haydee Breganski, Angela Banks, and other well known artists.The huge old trees create a relaxing atmosphere where one can sit and enjoy a light meal in the tea garden, ending it off with coffee and a slice of phenomenal Norwegian Custard Cake.

I revisited this beautiful gallery for the first time in 5.5 years. My partner and I had our first date here and there were weekly visits to the tea garden for months. It was a pleasure to be back there with him after all this time. The gardens are lush with tons of bird life. The food delicious and the ambience in general couldn’t be better.This quiet little hideaway leaves one feeling rested and relaxed almost instantaneously.We most certainly will be visiting more often again.

So goes the ooooold song but Ill eat my hat if you dont do just this at this Alice-InWonderland destination with smiles and applause continuing from the moment you pause on arrival at this little piece of heaven on earth to take in appealing art as you amble up the path to the Tina Skukan Gallery restaurant. I kid you not. Situated where clouds kiss earth beneath a canopy of bush trees wearing their leaves like plumage making you want to feast your eyes on every little detail and drink it all in. There is more to feast on at this best kept secret of day-time dining. Beautiful tranquil setting in Faerie Glen. So much to offer... Lots of shade and scattered seating arrangement with a decent menu, high quality paintings to browse at or purchase in the various galleries, lush and rustic gardens with sculptures and pieces of art of all kinds scattered around the premises. This is really a difficult place to describe but words like cool, chilled, arty, rustic, quiet, interesting and yummy come to mind.

I meant to give this place 5 stars but I paused too long on the first star and couldnt fix my mistake. I love the tranquil surroundings, friendly staff and utterly delicious Norwegian custard cake. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent light meals at very affordable prices. So are the cakes, home made and fresh. One of the coolest places on a hot summers day and you can enjoy the sound and closeness of birds.

Will be difficult to find another restaurant with this amount of shade, peace & quiet. All you hear are plenty birds and they get up close to you. The menu and pricing is excellent, like the home made ginger beer. One our favourite places

Why I loved it?! Why, the A New Nature art exhibitions opening today, of course! And besides that, the other variety of art on display, the peaceful tranquillity to be savoured amidst jasmine and lavender bushes under shade-giving trees amidst sculptures everywhere, and oh..did I mention the tea garden with its tasty treats? A place divine!

Such a beautiful hidden gem. Three galleries between beautiful trees and lush gardens. We only went to see the galleries, but will definitely go back to have breakfast at the restaurant not to see the new exhibition.

This must be one of Pretorias most popular galleries, which boasts a strong address list and a regular turnaround of different exhibitions on show. A regular visit even monthly will always yield some visual surprises. Art works are available at a range of mostly accessible prices, depending on the profile of the artist.
