I asked to do disc skimming and hand brake adjust. No problem 30 Min later they came back and told me my brakes where completly warn . I asked for a quote . A ridiculous amount was given to me of R2890 . So I said I will change it myself as anyone who knows a bit about a vehicle knows its not hard to change your own brake pads.However I have not had time to change and have currently driven for more than 6 months. My vehicle currently in for a major service at Isuzu and they informed me I still after all that driving have 30% left .And I drive alot and far distances. As far as Im concerned stay away bunch of sharks

I had brought my car in at ACD Silverton as the engine light was on I got to the workshop and the diagnosis machine was put on my car and I was told that the throttle body and sensor lights were cleared and I can use the car but if my cars light goes up I can come back again immediately ,after 5 minutes the cars engine light went up and my car started idling I returned it immediately and then I was told to leave my car and they will call me once they are done, I left my car at the workshop for 2 days and got it on Friday when I got it on Friday and asked the reception lady what caused my car to idle because no one explained to me whats going on as I had paid the deposit and the balance once I got my car and I saw that on the invoice it was written throttle body and sensor and she said those are the parts that were needed to fix my car , I then went to my moms house in Soweto on the very Sunday and arrived safely however the sound of my car changed it was louder then usual and the engine light switched back on again, I had to call someone who has a diagnosis machine to assist and they did that I even have the slip to prove it and its written that the problem was a throttle body/ sensor when I arrived in pretoria and when I start my car theres a sound underneath that it makes when its cold then when its warm everything is fine I had called ACD Silverton on Monday and told them I will be able to bring the car today on Friday when I went there to check the car and wanted them to tell me what was the problem so that it can be fixed or I can make a decision I was told that the technician went to see a client and will be back at 10:00am and had to leave the car the hole day so that they can check it which I told them I cannot do as I had booked an appointment and explained everything to them and told them that I will wait for my car as I had left my car before and a proper job was not done now all of the sudden the technician has gone to a client even though I had made an appointment and I was not taken seriously or treated with respect. My car still has a problem and I will have to look for an alternative even though I have paid for a service which was not rendered in full they told me to come back Monday or Friday and leave my car the whole day again Im not sure if they will adhere to their own instructions again.

I had my Kia Soul serviced here in March 2020 and it was so pleasant dealing with them. I felt that their prices were fair and the work carried was really top-notch. Almost three months later and Ive had absolutely zero problems. To put it into context, the last place I serviced my car, I had to take my car back FOUR times for issues that they didnt fix or messed up. It was so refreshing working with a workshop that was honest, diligent and professional. Im only taking my car here for services in the future!

I brought in my fiancés vehicle to Automotive service after i got stuck next to the road. I called for assistance and they immediately sent me a tow truck. They diagnosed the vehicle and showed me that my gearbox was damaged with holes. They explained to me how it could of happened in a way a woman could understand as well. In about two days they got authorization from my insurance and the vehicle was fixed. I was updated on the progress all the time. My vehicle is running smooth and even better.I would definitely recommend ACD Silverton.

When I received the phone call they told me Martin cant talk right now hes under the car, doing what exactly? when we went for the drive we heard the new sound and told him this is new and wasnt there before, I got home after taking my car and that is where it broke? I specifically asked for the print out why cant you present it, if you claim there are not faults on the car???

Excellent! I am particularly impressed with Martins honesty. VW informed me that my brake pads, disk brakes and brake fluid needed to be replaced. I informed Martin of this and received a reasonable quote for the work to be done. My car was then inspected and I received a call from Martin to say that they had checked everything and there was no need to do any work on my car and that I would therefore not be charged. He could have done the work anyway and charged me for it and I would not have known any better. He instead chose to think of my best interests. It is not often that you find a workshop with people you can trust. I will definitely be back here.

Being new in the area I was very nervous about a new place servicing my car. Wow, awesome, friendly staff, car is going like new after service. Will definitely go back next year for my annual service.

Did a good job, but quoted on more than what I wanted fixed. Put too much focus on other parts of the vehicle instead on the part I wanted them to focus on. But all round good service

Useless My vehicle was taken in only to get +10K quote at 15:00 with 2 hours working time left then when asked to do the minimal as I need my vehicle to get to work oh we dont have enough time to replace the water pump..(critical part) but you had started the service already. Why was my vehicle only quoted @15:00.. then I have to pay R1035 labour for. I have always recommended you.. I will no longer.. you have put me in a difficult / dangerous position now as I cant ride my vehicle.. thanks for nothing...

Called Martin on Saturday night about my starter. He arranged for his guys to collect my car on Monday morning at 7am, ordered and collected the part and had my car back at my house before my kids swimming lesson. Really goes the extra mile! Thanks ACD motors

Found them after being unsatisfied with services provided on my breaks at a tyre etc shop on lynwood road.Martin at auto-care diagnostics was very helpful and showed me areas of concern. He then solved them with high quality workmanship.This job was a smaller one, but I look forward to trusting this company with larger jobs in the future.I can highly recommend them if you have a concern on your cars brakes.

Aircon regas done on the 16th Feb 2019. The technician assured me that the aircon is fine and no leaks. I drove around and the air was nice and cold. The aircon started blowing warm air later that same day. I got home and noticed that the cap was not replaced. We replaced it. I called ACD and explained my problem. I returned on the 23rd to get it re gassed. I had to wait close to two hours for the car to go through the whole process again. I explained to the staff that my son is waiting outside his school and I need to fetch him. There was no sympathy whatsoever and I was asked to chose to wait for the whole process to finish (an additional 30 to 45 minutes) 😡.... Or bring it in the following week. Geez Im done with this nonsense!

Took my wifes ford for a basic service, and asked to check the aircon at it stopped working. They told me she needs new shocks (R4500). Which is strange as the car had only done 49000km. They also told me they need to recon the entire aircon. (Another R5000). I took the car to Tyremart in Silverlakes, they told me the shocks are in perfect condition. Absolutely nothing wrong. They gave me a report on them. Then took the car to Ford to check the aircon. It was just a loose connection.Avoid this place at all costs. How many others have they conned into doing work that was not required. SHOCKING and unethical!!

Reasone for the low rating is because of the mecanics. People in the reception are nice but the person that worked in my car didnt fixed my problem and I had to drive away with the same problem and I payed and they said it was fixed then things I said were already fixed they fixed again and charged me for it. They are so expensive for each thing they do its 350r and they charge me 6000r for a new alternator were I can get it for 850 out of the box.
