If you need a good accounting firm, that looks after your best interest and most importantly takes OWNERSHIP of your financial submissions, deadlines etc, then Venter $ Kie is NOT that firm. They will invoice you, take your documents and submit yes, but do not expect anything else from them. In four years, they have not submitted my tax returns twice. That’s 50%. But in fairness, as Lisle quotes the process, it remains MY/YOUR responsibility to insure THEY do their work. So really it was my fault. For me personally and my business, I need more.

As a small to medium company we had an expectation for our new bookkeepers/accountants, Venter & Kie. The reality is that they did not meet this expectation. If you are a company that depends and expect on things being done by the suppliers you pay timeously, then I suggest you keep looking…. My single biggest complaint is the absolute lack of communication and accountability.

Knowledgable people that wont mind telling you to take your business elsewhere if you have a complaint.
