Marika is a very kind woman or so I thought.It has taken me quite a few years to decide to write a bad review. Our wedding was in 2016 at LA Louis in Pretoria.My photographer that I usually use was fully booked on my wedding weekend. So I started searching for someone to help out. I wanted a photographer and a video crew and I found Marika. Met her at a place near Menlyn to discuss what I wanted and and and. Came wedding day all was wonderful everyone happy and cheery. She posted a few sneak peaks on my Facebook and said in about 2 weeks I will get the rest. I got the rest was soooo excited you can imagine started opening and I saw the quality of the photos was so bad so I messaged Marika asking is there something wrong the photos were in such a disastrous state that when I zoomed in the picture would be out of focus. She send me Jpek files!!Some of the fotos were blurred. She said that is what I get. I asked her can you send me the originals please she said no not possible. Long storie short in 2018 my mom and brother passed away and again I msg her asking to get the originals for fotos for the funeral as I cant use the photos she send me I cant enlarge at all. Send it to my photographer she could not believe the quality said she shot it in ypek format. Said she will get back to me she should go and search for them. Two days to their funeral I asked again I was ignored tried phoning numerous times she didnt answer.A month ago I asked her for the original fotos again as my photographer said she could try and fix the photos but needed the originals. Marika said I only keep it for two years I will need to check. And again the same as always never got back to me. I paid Marika R5500 for 15 photos that was posted on my Facebook with her name on them they were the only good looking photos ever. Its disgraceful truly so not once did she tell me she made a mistake or why the quality of my photos was so disastrous. She doesnt care she didnt say let me refund you or let me give you another photo shoot. I was in tears and my photographer said get your wedding dress on and lets go to the botanical gardens I will shoot for you for free. But it was only me ad my hubby and my daughters. My special day with all my memories could not be replaced again. It is forever gone because I failed myself reading reviews about what good quality work she gives. Its a joke!
