The only thing that looked exactly as it is from the internet is that bathroom and the bedroom.. the bathroom is perfect. The pool was dirty surrounded by many rock and dirty things, I didnt see any garden even though we were promised that our room have a nice pool and garden view.

I was there for a weekend, to be honest the service and our room was good however I was looking forward to swim but the swimming pool was dirty, not to mention the garden

Sunset Manor made our stay in the town of Potch and in South Africa so memorable and warm! The staff was friendly, engaging and warm, the food was beyond outstanding and the portions were healthy and the staff genuinely cared about getting it right. I also have to say that the rooms were modern, clean and the area was so safe, quiet and yet so close to everything including restaurants, university life, etc. Lastly I have never stayed at a guesthouse where the owner, Bennie, cared more about ensuring the satisfaction of his guests. New world amenities with Old world charm! I wholeheartedly recommend the Sunset Manor if staying in or around Potchefstroom!

Lebo and Bennie are the friendly hosts that takes care of your every need.The rooms are all air conditioned with ample space for a overnight stay. From Booking to Checkout is handled with ease & professionalism. Modern styled bathrooms with large mirrors to prepare for a night out on the town. Breakfast is served every morning in true South African style: Eggs, Bacon, Cheese Grillers & Mushrooms that will keep you coming back for more. Safe parking inside.I had a pleasant stay at Sunset Manor every weekend. They give guests a remote to come and go as they please, this becomes handy if you’re planning on staying out till late. Well, what can I say other than me my son & his trainer chose Sunset Manor for a week together with the many others for a Power Lifting Chamionship . I was fortunate enough to get to know the owner, his staff and his wife.What an amazing stay which without a doubt made our South African trip amazing, The rooms were super spacious, beds were super comfortable - food was excellent, but by far the it was the host that made our stay memorable...When we return to South Africa - we are cant do it without staying here again! :)Chris, Kai & Matt + all the guys from The British Power Lifting Team

I go on trips to Potch for work every 2 months and try a new B&B everytime and all was just ok. This time I went to Sunset Manor Guesthouse and oh my was I impressed!! Everything exceeded my expectations, from the gorgeous rooms, to the food!! The most important part for me is the customer service. Bennie and his team are the most accommodating and friendly people I have ever met at a B&B!! They are warm and welcoming. It felt like home away from home. Absolutely loved my stay, thank you. And I will definitely come back to your B&B on my next work trip.

What a gem of a guesthouse. You immediately feel at home when you walk in there. You are kindly received. Everything is very neat and clean. Although it is extremely luxurious, you still feel comfortable, as if you could just kick off your shoes. The breakfast is delicious. Their prices are very reasonable. I will definitely stay here every time I have to come to Potch.
