I had coffee and a light meal with a colleague of 50 yesterday ago. Lovely environment and a charming waiter. The venue couldnt be better. We sat there talking for three hours in a comfortable, quiet corner of Die Akker talking about the good old days.

Relaxed, soft cushioned semi private booths, wifi and ideal for quiet laptop work with excellent coffee, light breakfasts to full meals. Friendly, quick service. Spent most of a Monday there - not crowded. 10/10!

The place has a general coffee shop atmosphere, which both counts in its favour and leads to some minor annoyances. The drinks are really good and there is a diverse menu, but the quality difference between the available dishes does stand out. Some are extremely good and others seem present just for the sake of have it on the menu. The waiters are well trained and polite, but tends to leave you alone for extended periods of time. This can either be a feature or an annoyance depending on the nature of your visit. Overall I have never had a bad experience and would wholeheartedly recommend it as a destination for a rendezvous with an old friend or a early morning coffee before work.

!!!worst restaurant I have ever been.... waiters are very nice but the food..Ordered a burger though Im getting a normal burger... had a burger without bread did not say in the menu its a ban less burger!!! And its say on the menu every burger comes with fries and onion rings got fking lettuce and slices tomatoes. The pattie was dry and small as hell....All this for R95.00... this restaurant is perfect for an episode of kitchen nightmares

Wonderful Coffee House. Its been standing for decades and is literally a land mark on the Bult in Potchefstroom. Definitely a place to visit.

My experience here was okay... I had a coffee that was of great quality. Only thing is, coffee should be served at the optimal condition of 85 degrees... This coffee was way too hot... But its fine since many people would say the coffee is cold....My waiter was nog engaging at all... We sat for 2 hours before he came and asked if we wanted something to eat....The shop looks great and the chairs are comfortable.Ill visit again... But Ive been to better coffee shops....

Most dishes are good, coffee is good too. Lots of options for basically whatever you feel like. The specials are great too!Only complaint is the cushioning on the seats is flat, not super comfortable if you have a bad back but thats more a me problem.

My favourite family restaurant..

Perfect set up for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner. The place is very attractive and intimate.

Service by waitress was good. Food tasted good but I found the pumpkin too sweet and I couldnt finish the apple pie still because of sweetness levels being too much.The rump stake was very nice even without a sauce. Although requested a medium-to-well done I was first given a medium-rare which was later well corrected.Restaurant was not overfilled (40%) for the time we visited Mon(14:00-16:00)

They have a special every Monday from 15:00 that you can buy one meal and get one free meal. The food is very good en the waiters are kind and friendly.

Burger was nice but the chips was disappointing. The Salad wasnt very fresh but the Service however was really friendly and efficient and the milkshakes are also great.

On the road early in the morning and only needed a coffee and something light to eat. The service received was excellent as the waiter immediately assisted. Will definitely pop in again and sit down next time we pass through

Three of us had a Sunday breakfast here and the place was immaculate, the food superb and the service efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was calm and soothing although the place was quite packed with customers. a truly enjoyable experience.

Good value for money, the service was really good. The place had a lively athmosphere even on a Sunday night. It attracts a rather young crowd mostly students however there was also a few families. A nice place for a quick bite or for a full meal... I will def go again!
