My favorite spot in Potch great cocktails & great food always!

Great food and amazing waitresses/waiters. The only problem is the waiting time, the last time we waited 3 hours before our food arrived cause the kitchen was closed due to an influx of orders and happened the second time we went again but left and decided not to do the waiting thing again. Definitely needs more improvement on their service.

Good service and good food, which was served promptly.We had to, however, go and search for the waiter to order our dessert.

Staff was very friendly. Cocktails were amazing. We went there on sunday and the special was Buy 2 cocktails and get the cheapest one free.... Then we went on monday to grab some coffee, and they gave us 20% off on our main meals.I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is in need of some casual dining...

The service was slow even though the restaurant was nearly empty. My chicken salad was extremely bland, with absolutely no spicing, not even salt. The manager was notified and did not even came to speak to me or apologise.

The non-smoking area smells like smoke - which is horrible. I dont want to walk out of a restaurant smelling like cigarette smoke even when I sat far removed from the non-smoking section. Also, the resturant feels dirty and some of the tables are broken/chipped. The table we got was sticky and dirty. The atmosphere feels more bar-like than a restaurant. The prices are definitely worth the atmosphere.

Highly recommend Broken Pot if you are looking for friendly service, awesome pizzas, and cleanliness. Refreshing experience!

This place has really nice food. There is quite a bit of choice (pizza, pasta, burgers, grill, etc) and to quality is good. Service is fine as well. Not too fast, but definitely not too slow. They come and check whenever is needed. You can also sit outside, although that is next to the parking or next to the street. It is covered though, so the noise is not bad.

Update... for a place where I have not frequented since February it has been a refreshing take on my experience. The service did bring up the experience. Ask for Magdelene, honestly one of the most helpful servers around. Attention to detail and friendly. Drinks didnt take long to arrive and the food came within reasonable amount of time. However the food was alright. Ordered the rump steak, presentation was clean and neat. The portion sizes were reasonable and it is not bad. Would have gladly given 4 stars but the food today was simply just alright. The seasoning was on the lighter side. The steak was tender and was cooked well. Slightly over but it was still fine.Would still keep in mind a past experience that made quite a few of our colleagues not come here for quite a few months, but the restaurant isnt a bad place to get reasonable quality food.

This is a typical pub the way a pub should be. The food is really good at pub prices. We thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and the service was friendly and efficient. If youre in Potchefstroom, then you should make this a port of call.

Highly recommended. They serve high quality food, with almost everything made from scratch. The managers are very involved and most of the staff-members are friendly and well-trained. Regulars are always greeted by name and their favourite drinks are never too far away. There is excellent craft beer, cocktail and wine selections as well as great specials and events. Reservations on a Monday are recommended.

It was a great experience. The food was delicious and well prepared. The waitress that served us was very well informed and all his suggestions was up to our standard. The atmosphere was also very relaxing.

Good for food and the game. Probably the best place in town to watch football on a Sunday. They have good enough beer, a wonderful fireplace, and good managers. The place is also clean which is always a positive thing.

The food is as expected, a good pub menu and They have a decent beer and wine selection. The service was quick and friendly but the atmosphere is a bit dark and stuffy and the food is not presented very well. I can however recommend the chicken basket.

Best fish and chips Ive had in my whole life. Be sure to come on a monday to get the cheapest meal free. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is nice and cozy.

One of the favourite places to visit. However, keep in mind that the smell of smoke is heavy in the air which is a nuisance to me as a non-smoker.

After I asked for no avo, the kitchen made a mistake and the waitress took it back. She was so kind to bring me a new burger and add a drink on the house.Very good quality food! Impressed. Ask for Andri-Me when grabbing a bite here!
