Food is great with reasonable prices, cocktails are actually cocktails not juice🤣 and the service is always the best.

We loved Jaxx restaurant, had a lively view of the ocean.

We were on Holiday at Hibberdene and wanted to go eat out. We found Jax Restaurant on google and boy am I grateful that we did. I have never experience such great and fast service,, especially when the place was packed. The people were streaming in and out. The drinks and food came so quick. The food was amazing !! And you get your moneys worth and even more. Well done Jax! Will definitely visit you guys again

Great restaurant with friendly staff. Theyve got a broad menu with a couple of vegan options (burger and a wrap) and almond milk for hot drinks. I had the sweet potato burger, the patty was way too soft but the flavours was amazing so it was worth it. And as a bonus they have plastic free straws and take away packaging.

Food was great but service absolutely awful including the young manager walking around doing nothing.Very sad experience when normally great.Not the type of service you want to be providing during holiday season or long weekend.Very disappointed

Really good experience, the food was really good their prawns are amazing. If the steak had rested a little bit longer it would have been 5 starts.All in all had a good experience and will definitely recommend it.

When my partner and I went down to the coast at the beginning of the year this was the first restaurant that we ate out at once we got there. The food was great! Service was a little slow but completely understandable as the restaurant was packed the entire time we were there (obviously means they are doing something right). The waiter that served us was super friendly and helpful!

Wow what a great little restaurant, upper deck, pizza bar, gourmet burgers and a delightful deserts. The first rastaurant that actually had the coldest draughts Ive had on South coast! Service was quick and exceptional. Food is not badly priced, mains are between 80 and 100 for a decent meal per personThanks for the great hospitality!

Very nice venue but they could not cope with the crowd today.waited forever to be served and the food was cold.coctails mai tai was served in a whiskey glass and only arrived when we were almost done with lunch.. still waiting for the Tabasco sauce...some stuff not available on the menu as they had run out.waiter not proactive in telling you before hand of things not available...wont be in a hurry to go back there.

The food is really good,but the waitresses need a bit more training in etiquette.The waitress forgot our order and went home.She wouldnt look at us in the eyes when taking our orders-maybe she was going through a lot,but ya ,not so nice still.

Great location. Has views of the ocean. Bad service. We went to grab brunch before heading out to Durban. We had to wait 30 minutes for our food. I ordered chicken and avo salad but at the kitchen they forgot my avo they had to bring to the table. It is beautiful place, they just have to work on their service.

Jaxx Resturant is fantastic. They go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied and happy. The friendly and helpful waiters, their extensive menu (plus for recyclable paper) and their wood burning fire all adds to an inviting warm experience. Definitely a must when visiting the south coast.

A few years ago I thought this place was doomed. My family and I were very pleasantly surprised at the changes made here. The scenery is absolutely breath taking. We were lucky that there was also water coming over the falls. We walked over the suspension bridge and watched people doing the gorge swing and the zip line. It looked terrifying.

Pizza is amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Cajun fillet pizza is the best seller and I can see why. 😍

Great Food and Great Service. Jaxx has a wide variety of craft beers, Craft Gin and Even Craft Rum. They use fresh herbs on their Pizzas and they have generous amount of toppings. They serve unusual, but carefully selected pizzas. Lamb Pizza was Awesome

The waitress was amazing. First time having a bad experience actually. Ordered the ribs that we normally order, so we are familiar with the taste and recipe of them. When our order came we found that some of the ribs on the plate were off and had an after taste.We made the waiter and ultimately the supervisor.The matter was poorly dealt with because the supervisor merely said , sorry but the chef has confirmed that the recipe has not changed.Completely disregarding that core issue was that some of the ribs were off.

The best chicken livers we ever had and the pork ribs are super delicious, definitely recommending those two. The service was excellent, very professional and friendly staff. He was very helpful when we ordered take away and it was delivered free of charge. He definitely deserves promotion.The ambience is very pleasant, with beautiful sea view. Jaxx has a lovely scenery overlooking the greenery and the indian ocean. The food was amazing and friendly waiters.

Great service. Even though it was full, we were still treated as VIPs and our order of drinks was taken and brought to us within a few minutes while we waited for a table. The staff even cared and made an effort for my little one who was feeling cold. Thank you guys keep it up!

Great service from staff. But the pizza range was a bit too oily for my liking. Foccacias and pizzas both too much oil. Great halloumi starter and the pulled pork wraps also good.

Went for the ribs special, half of the ribs were off, the manager /owner (he wasnt wearing a name tag or uniform) was informed he came back to tell us with attitude that theres nothing wrong with the ribs. We did not want any special treatment we were informing them so they dont give bad ribs to other customers but the attitude that came with it makes me think that this is a strategy to get rid of bad ribs and still make money.
