We stayed at Marlon for a month, they give special 1 month rates R2500 per month. The owner, Chris is very helpful always greeting and chatting making sure we all happy. The ablution block was 1 of the best we have seen so far. Enjoyed many bubble baths there. They also a short walk down the road to the beach. On Friday nights Chris opens his bar/restaurant from 4pm onwards. He has a set menu to choose from. Very homely, friendly atmosphere and you get to meet all the other campers there. We were sad to leave such a wonderful campsite. Over the weekend we even had our friends from St Michaels come Brazil onlong side their river.

Beautiful venue. Close to awesome beaches, friendly owner, pub and restaurant on premises, on a river,modern ablutions with bath for the ladies. A very good all round experience.

Very nice sites with electricity points. Ablution Block is very nice and clean. There is take away food, but only on Friday. There is bar but only Friday night

So good it changed my motor-homing philosophy! As an enthusiastic angler I have in the past chosen venues on the seashore and ignored others close by but not on the seafront. Very large level sites, good ablutions and mostly the exceptionally friendly and helpful owner / managers and staff definitely trump previous prejudices. In fact even fishing was enhanced by not staying only at a resident position. Very well priced and a privilege to be able to stay here for a month.

What an amazing weekend! Boat ride down the river, volleyball, jungle gym, swimming pool, games room with pool, darts and table tennis. Half moon for skate boarders. The amount of space there is fantastic. Kids love it!Pub and braai area really great.

Definately a hidden gem along the south coast! Park is very neat, ablutions very clean! Nice on-site restaurant and bar with the best food, but the chips is a real treat! Hosts, Chris, Heather and Rose makes you feel at home and everyone feels like family in the resort. During our stay, it rained heavily one evening, Chris made sure everyone is dry and safe and even let some of the campers whos tents were wet sleep in one of the unoccupied units. They even baked some pancakes at our request in the rainy weather! Nice swimming pool and games room and a lot of beaches close-by to chose from. We will definately return!

This is the third visit here. The ground are immaculate. The toilet facilities are amazing and ultra clean. The owner has a mini restaurant onsite. Try the calamari and chips. Beer quarts are R24 in Dec 20. Cheap. Close to the beach and Orca bar. Strongly recommended.

You feel like youve had a proper holiday

It was a pleasant experience to visit this well maintained and organised resort and I will surely visit again soon.

What a wonderful, peaceful time we had at this beautiful resort. The gardens are lush with plenty trees and shrubs thus providing magnificent bird life. The resort offers grassed, level, shady camp sites with electrical points and water taps very close by. The owners take great pride in the resort and go out of their way to make your stay a great one. A games room and inviting swimming pool are available. There is a communal area with chairs, tables, braais and a refreshment bar, the Shack, which offers fish/calamari and chips most Fridays evenings.

The most amazing campsite we have ever been to. We arrived as strangers and left as family. Grassy pitches, pet friendly, the cleanest ablutions, and above all the best customer service.A little shack serving yummy Fish and the best chips in the world. If I could give this place a -2 I would. I would not recommended staying here to anyone! Worst three days ever. The cabin smelled, the ceiling was leaking, the kitchen draw was stuck and mildew on the side of the shower door. Do yourself a favor and stay some where else.

What a great resort for camping - level grassed sites, excellent ablutions and well run. You can get fish, chicken or russians and chips at The Shack plus drinks while watching a rugby game on a big screen tv. Well worth a visit.
