Crab Shack is an amazing place to take your family. We had children ranging from 2 to 18 years and it was a safe and family friendly environment. The beach was easily accessible and only a few steps away. Crab Shack had all we needed from a dishwasher to an ice machine! We will definitely be back!

The venue was immaculate. It was clean. Very well put together. It had something to accommodation everyone. It was spacious, the location is within walking distance to the beach.Iy is safe. They had a pool and board games as well as a yard for the kids to play tennis outdoor .we were welcomed with a welcome pack which was so thoughtful. This was definitely one of they best accommodations I have had the pleasure of staying in. I will definitely recommend this venue.

The Crab Shack is truly a beautiful place to stay in. The facilities available are amazing for the price. The entrance to the beach on your doorstep is awesome. The owners and staff go out of the way to make your stay a memorable one. Will definitely be back. 👍

Selfishly, Im almost reluctant to write about Crab Shack cottage! Clearly, from the guest book comments made, this wonderful gem of a beach cottage is appreciated and popular. It is well situated, with good beach access, well appointed with everything needed for a relaxing holiday - including provision of beach towels (!), cleaning service and a welcome note and goody box - all a testament to the careful thought that has gone into planning and providing this accommodation option. A bonus is that it is also pet friendly - we didnt but will holiday with our dog next time. Four comfortable rooms sleep up to 10 (one room has 2 double bunk beds). If you want respite from the sea or tidal pool, there is a well maintained pool on the deck of the cottage. Idyllic holidays are on the horizon.

An absolutely beautiful home with a breathtaking view! We arrived to a warm welcome by Maxine and inside the house there was a cute welcome gift for us, which included wine, sweets, doggy treats and much more! The house was clean neat, and very very spacious. It was also well equipped with necessities, and was a perfect environment and setting for a family + pets.Thank you Kevin and Lesley for the great accommodation ⭐, and thank you Maxine for the warm welcome and friendly goodbye.Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our stay at Crab shack was so amazing. Absolutely everything was perfect. Only problem I had was I should have booked for longer 😄. What a lovely stay! Beautiful beach house with everything you could possibly need. Kids loved all the space, big yard and the easy beach access. Best home away from home and to recharge those batteries. Hope to see you again soon!

Wow!!!! From start to finish what an amazing stay. We travel extensively throughout South Africa and up into Africa as well as internationally. I have never arrived to such a phenomenal set up before. You literally dont need anything besides food and clothes. We wanted to bake and there were even cupcake trays. The location is brilliant. So easy to walk down to the beach. At low tide the kids can fish in rock pools, swim in the tidal pool and build sand castles. At high tide the pool turns into a crazy lot of fun as massive waves splash over the walls. We had an amazing 12 days here and were so sad to leave. The kids were in tears and the dogs refused to get in the car. We cannot wait to be back! Thank you for being such awesome hosts.

This place is breathtakingly beautiful... The house is well equipped and every little detail meticulously thought of... Maxine is excellent she was so welcoming and friendly... The kids loved her... The beach is situated just a few steps away with the most beautiful tidal pool... Definitely need another stay...

Crab Shack is a piece of heaven. It offers a splendid sea view. Wonderful peaceful days spend with the family. The accommodation is stylish and luxurious. The owner and staff helpful and professional. An absolute five star living experience if you are planning to stay at the South coast.

Very modern, well equipped, and absolute beachfront accommodation. Neat and spacious with secure fencing as well as alarm system. Serviced daily. Pet friendly and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again. Great hosts that made our stay smooth sailing from start to finish.

The ambiance was great, perfect, private home away from home experience... The hospitality of both the owners and our host was outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed our family time out. Cottage is fully loaded and well put together, were sure to visit again.

My Family and I had the pleasure of booking and staying at Crabshack in June 2021.The best Kzn winter holiday!!! The house was really lovely with everything that you can need whilst on holiday. The cleanliness, the outstanding service from Sweetness and the beautiful decor inside and outside made it a perfect getaway for us. Also it is definitely the best pet friendly holiday home that I have been to and my fur baby loved the space to run around. This is definitely going to be my favourite place for a beach holiday. What an amazing place to stay! Everything you need for a relaxing break. The fact that it is pet friendly makes it all the better, the doggers loved it as much as we did!

... it was not the impressive fit-for-purpose beach cottage - did I say cottage? - beach house, nor the well-appointed fittings & fixtures, nor the access to the magnificent semi-private beach which makes the Crab Shack a no-brainer holiday home, destination and venue, but the superlative service, courtesy, customer service of the entire Crab Shack team, that made our week-long chill, a veritable paradise!Peter Streng (Durban)
