Excellent service, had a very good experience. A bit of a wait to get your card and in different sections, but runs quite smoothly. Highly recommended.

One of the worst experiences ever. my father has now been turned away 6 times after having appointments and referred by a doctor for his hernia operations. he has been given a different excuse every time. when you call the hospital you get pushed from pillar to post. no one has an answer. the manager is never there and the pro has no idea what she is doing. he has been in pain for 2 years. yet others get taken in straight away... the media should hear about this as i spoke to many other patients there and some have waiting more than 2 years. PATHETIC.

Went in for a major operation and although the nursing staff have room for improvement the attending doctors were brilliant. The aftercare was also very good and I received all the medication and dressings that I needed. .

My daughter was booked in and stayed for two days. She had a Keloid removed. The doctors and nurses where brilliant. I cannot find fault with any of them. They made her feel so comfortable and relaxed. Thank you to all the nurses, doctors and heads of departments for the great care.

There is no wheelchair parking available. I have to drop my mom off and leave her in the wheelchair so that I can go and park the car. Today it was raining and I had no choice as to leave my mom in the rain to go and fetch the car. Just to realize someone has park their car in such a way that I cannot get out. I phoned security and asked them to push my mom out of the rain. There was no shelter for her nearby (she was at the very bottom parking place). Security however gave them their umbrella. I just want to thank the security for not leaving my mom in the rain but assist her in any way possible.

The parking for patients visiting the Hospital is just about non existent. The little that is available is a risk to each person visiting the Hospital and having their car damaged when trying to negotiate the terrible access points to the open ground where most are forced to park.I suggest that the Hospital gets the community to donate gravel and fill up those terrible access points that are damaging Patients vehicles. (Not difficult at all)Patients visiting the hospital need to wait long times at the Pharmacy, (Way more than stipulated by the posters), while we can all clearly see staff standing around chatting or just aimlessly walking around while only one Person dispenses the medication.I used to visit the Steve Bikho hospital in Gauteng and there were never less than 3 people dispensing medication while the other staff was constantly busy collecting medication to hand to those dispensing. The Dispensary decides every now and then to have a staff meeting, resulting in the Dispensary opening up to 30 Minutes later than stipulated on the Posters.Meetings should be held way before the Opening times thus ensuring that the Dispensary can open at the stipulated time.

It is 23:30 and I asked the night staff to please put off the lights in the ward and was rudely told that they have work (office ) to do and they will not. I am in A ward . Surely there is a policy as to when lights are to be turned off and it should be adhered to. There is an office where they can carry out their duties but they work in the ward area. This is not acceptable as we cannot sleep properly under these circumstances.
