A stranger invited me to church and I immediately said yes. On the Sunday morning I was at total war with my head, not knowing why I didnt want to go. I have been so let down by churches in the past and hurt by the people within them that I felt scarred by my experiences in the past. I was also at complete war with my own rebellion, not having a clue how to make changes in my own strength. I have tried and failed for ten years. In the car on the way to Living Word I became aware that destiny was in fact in the air and my spirit prompted me to go up to an alter call NO MATTER what my head was telling me. When we pulled in, it was beautiful, beautiful trees, rustic and without flash. My children hopped out the car and bolted into the kids section like they were familiar with everyone. I loved how almost everyone sang out of tune. It was so real and without airs and graces. I felt at home, something I never have in a church. I went up for an alter call at the very last minute, when I could no longer bare to hide what was going on in my life and told Pastor Wilko very little. He looked into my eyes and with the greatest kindness, he exposed the root problem following me around for 38 years and told me things he could have never known if he had not been operating through the Holy Spirit. I received a Deliverance right there on the floor of that little church and it will forever be etched into my heart. I have far to go but I am no longer alone in my walk. Thank you for everything you did for me. My life is changing as a result of going there and we have made actual friends :)
