I had the worse stay out of all the guesthouses I stayed in. The old lady at reception was very rude and she does not know how to speak to people in a more respectful manner. its as if she was doing you a favour by letting you stay there. The breakfast was the worse breakfast ever for two weeks of my stay I was eating same things every day. She kept on switching off the geyser and blamed on neighbouring to finish water. on top of that there was theft during the period of my stay and the old lady was not even remorseful. with the experience i had i really could not recommend it to any one. Firstly the reception needs someone younger and energetic, the old lady does not show energy. she treats people like they children.

There were absolutely no vegetarian breakfast options available not even mushrooms.

Worst experience ever. One of the rooms didnt have water, complained and the lady told me she checked it has water. But theres never water in the mornings and night in some of the rooms upstairs. The lights were going off around the exact same time every night (i was there for two weeks) as if the place is timed to save electricity. Could have been coincidental loadshedding, doubt it. The ladies that clean there are amazing, very friendly. You just have to double check though if the cleaning was done properly, make sure they put in fresh towels. Had to ask many times for air freshener because the room i was in the toilet just smelled funny. They went in and sprayed the air fresher but didnt wanna leave me one in the room. Weird. Owner seems very stingy, can treat you like youre staying there by favor. Either than that, I enjoyed the pool and the people I was with made the whole experience bearable. Theres also a cute dog there, and a private entrance to the beach.

Wonderful peaceful. Place to go when you need relaxing. Owner a wonderful lady. I wish this business all the very best throughout the year.

Taking into account that this review is post COVID-19 lockdown with this type of establishment having suffered greatly, the offering was not bad. Pool was dirty and amenities minimal (breakfast offering, for example, quite basic). Our room was robbed while we were sleeping (they stole a Samsung Galaxy watch and took my handbag but dumped it on the property), and the water and electricity were out for an hour or so on 2 mornings. However, the friendly, energetic dog, Duke, was fun as he likes accompanying guests onto the beach. The place is clean and comfortable. The beach is absolutely beautiful and not as crowded as the main beaches. Lot of food and shopping places nearby as well.

Very pleasant ambiance. Lovely host provided excellent. Beautiful views. Multiple areas to relax in. Jacuzzi and pool. Suitable for a long stay. Very affordable. Access to the ocean from the house. Has everything you need (except body soap).

Place perfectly located in front of the sea. The sounds of the waves during the day and night are soothing and relaxing. Priceless quality of sleep......

Extremely disappointed. Stayed in Room 8, which they advertised as a rear facing room with a fully equipped kitchenette. We never expected rear facing means your door faces directly into the cleaners room ? There is no private outside area for room 8, except if you want to sit outside in front of the guesthouse in front of all the other guests rooms? Self catering? But there was only a microwave and toaster in the kitchen? Parking space is a huge problem as there was not enough parking space for all the vehicles. Wont recommend room 8 at all.

Very beautifull views and access to the beach. One get the feeling of your own private beach. Will definately stay there again.

Beautiful place, i had to cancel our booking there. The gate is locked at 6or7 and reopens and 6or7 the next morning. I mean iam there for the bike fest which has a lot of activities at night.

What a wonderful place.. the rooms have everything you need and you are literally on the beach. hosts are welcoming which makes it a pleasant stay. Will definitely be keeping this in my list of places to stay!

Incredible beach to walk on outside your window. Beautiful setting and room. Very peaceful atmosphere.

Great service, good breakfast. Facility well maintained & rooms very neat. Right on the beach, with great views. Public access about a km away so private & safe. Thx to Andrew & staff will be back again.

Firstly there was a huge dog, he was friendly, but you cant assume people want to play with dogs on holidays. No. 2 the owner would check my room and check how many time Ive opened the aircon 🙄. When asked about cameras facing the rooms, she said sometimes black people kill each other. I would never go back there again!

Everything was nice and clean, but I wish there was an iron and a hairdryer in the room but otherwise everything was good.

Excellent location- on the beach. Accommodation- slightly crowded if you want a private holiday as the resort is small.
