Our alarm went off around 10.50pm and they took more than 15mins to come check what triggered the alarm. Fortunately there were no thieves. If there was a break in the thieves would have had ample time to get away.

What can i say? ... I work there..

Very disappointed with Salute, after years of using the service, never having called them out, purchasing latest tech from the company, we had to part ways. During lockdown, someone broke into our house, stole R50K worth of electronics, took Salute weeks to come back to me on the issue(only to tell me that they do not have insurance and are not liable for anything, including a system failure). Alarm was activated, never worked. The batteries of the sensors were flat. After countless phone calls, got hold of Wikus, who simply told me it is NOT Salutes responsibility to make sure that the system is in operating order, and it was not the technicians job to check that all the areas were responding when they added new equipment onto the house and disconnected remotely the areas in question from the app during renovations(which means, the app did not show the areas were lost). However, when they replaced the batteries and charged R240, they made calls to me 3 times a day for their payment, in conclusion, all Salute cares about is their money, not the clients safety. Thank you, Salute for letting me know where your service lies, before any of us actually ended up in a situation where we needed your help!
