A very beautiful Spot in Polokwane for everyone, enjoyed the vibe it gave and there were so many interesting people to engage with. Although we had to wait for our food 🍲 for over an hour, the food tasted scrumptious, you will bite your tongue out 😂 Their portions aint satisfactory though, menu descriptions are exaggerated dont have any over the top expectations. This cafe was awesome, I really loved it there from the way it looks as you enter and the set-up to the food, how it tasted, its presentation, wow this is a place Id definitely recommend to people as a good chill spot.Plus its family friendly, they have a trampoline spot and a mini sand pit for the kids and a container bar fo the adults were you get to create your own drinks, I mean this place is super cool and fits to your every occasion oh and a stage for live music.Its just amazing,I commend and thank the owner for creating such a place, brilliant.

Great container restaurant, loved it, it has great cocktails but service needs to improved , we waited for over an hour, perhaps it’s because it was the festive season and it was very busy! Loved it though! Highly recommended if in Polokwane and looking for a place sundowners outside city CENTRE! They also have a lovely kids play area!

Five shining stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Grounded container is a marvelous place with the friendliest staff Ive seen yet. Among the places Ive experienced around Polokwane I have to rank it first, thus far. We had made a reservation of a table to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately we were late as two of our friends had to travel from Pretoria to Polokwane for this special lunch. Upon arrival at Grounded Container we were received with smiles and told not to fret that we were late and treated with such quality service. The manager known as Champ assured us the best of service and truly they exceeded our expectations. Our waiter was this wonderful lady called Conny, she made us comfortable during our stay and she was always on top of things. She would see us taking selfies and she would gladly approach and ask to take pictures of us. To be received to such hospitality was new to us, we were later offered a tour of the restaurant.The food, the drinks and the vibe.They have a diverse menu which is almost similar to most restaurants, but they offer a next level specialty when it comes to their drinks. We had a plate of ribs and the ribs were slow cooked to a sweet, tender and tasty perfection. With the sauce used on the ribs creating such a mouthwatering taste, it sure was a visit to remember. The drinks were such works of art, we couldnt help but continuously take pictures of them.The VibeThe late night vibe gives the restaurant such jaunty feel created by the light show created by the lights across the trees and the outdoor space. Just before 8pm the manager approached all the tables informing us that there will a special performance that will require them to switch of the lights. The performance was made by Kevin, a stunt performer playing with fire and this was just mesmerizing to see the length of which the restaurant goes to ensure that every stay there is perfected. I truly recommend this place would definitely be visiting many more times.

The best place in Polokwane to wine and dine. Definitely something different than the norm. Worth a visit for any foodie or craft drink enthusiast. Offers a wide range of menu items to choose from. I do recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great kiddies area with jumping castles and trampolines, there is even a waterworm on Saturdays for the kids to enjoy.

The quality of the food here is excellent. Highlights from the menu that come to mind are burgers, sliders, steaks and build-your-own platters with a page-long list of options. The quality of their meat is worth mentioning. The bar is respectable and has a decent selection of craft beers, specialty gins and impressive-looking cocktails. Breakfast options also make an appearance. The place has a uniquely warm and contemporary atmosphere, especially for a Polokwane venue. It is pleasing that they never seem less than half-full with patrons.

This is my go to place to chill. Iv always loved going there until the last visit, the food wasnt to my liking, being a chef myself I was disappointed especially when they couldnt cook my meat to order, it was dry and it took long to get to the table. Had flies disturbing us.I think this could be due to covid and all, but I trust that they can pick up. Place really has potential.

I am terribly disappointed by their service during this pandemic, the employees do not adhere to COVID 19 safety regulations, the bartenders were not wearing masks when preparing our drinks ,and the lady who was serving our drinks took off her mask and started laughing and talking with the guys behind the bar spitting on our drinks. Please everyone visiting there must take precautions.
