Delicious Pizza and burgers, washed down with good beer in the sunshine. I was presented with a glass skull of hot sauce; but the green chilli with the pizza was far more subjugating.

I cant see what the fuss is about, the venue is ok and food is average, the waiter/owner sells the product extremely well but the execution to the end product is rather disappointing. Overall not a bad experience, but would definitely not be returning.

This is by far one of the most special restaurants that Ive ever visited! It looks humble upon first glance, but as you spend time there you realize how extraordinary it truly is. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful! They were always smiling and enthusiastic about being there. Then the food was absolutely exquisite! From the taste to the plating, everything was perfect. Extra care was added to presentation with flowers on the salad and placement of the food on the plate. The side salads were a treat on their own, with a perfect dressing pre added and a great variety of different leaves and veggies. All ingredients were fresh and the sauces and spices were memorable. The meals were also super filling as the chefs were very generous. The manager was walking around and checking in. They didnt have the pita for the veggie burger, but instead of insisting we order something else, they presented us with a delicious veggie wrap with the same ingredients.Do yourself a favor and visit the Peppermill :)

Awesome food and the ambience. The lamb shank that I had was so good that even now my mouth is watering. The tender lamb with the potato mash and the sauce that comes along with was the best combination I ever had.

Absolutely a must visit.Lamb shank no exaggeration falls off the bone and allot of flavor. The pork belly salad taste twice as good as it looks and it looked awesome. Even the Rosemary and feta focassia starter was perfect especially with a bit of balsamic drizzle on it

What a delightful little restaurant, with delicious and well presented food. The service is very good and the owner, Nick, very informative about the area and very hospitable. We had a lunch and the came back for breakfast. For the coffee lovers, this place has great coffee - this place is a must if you are in the area.

Our group on the garden route stopped here for lunch and they were extremely accommodating, especially because we were such a large group (about 40 of us). The food was scrumptious and had a homemade feel.

This has to be one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food is exceptional and the service is brilliant. I have recommended this restaurant to people and I am fully confident that they will have a wonderful experience. There is nothing I can fault them on. The owner is really great and really involved too. Absolutely brilliant!!!

Rreakfast, lunch or dinner, everything on the menu is fine dining. Be sure to check their closing times, seem to be a bit hazy on that point.

We stopped for lunch at Peppermill. Excellent food quality and a wonderful chef. The prices are also reasonable for the area. It is well worth a visit. Additionally, there are good quality curio stores adjoining Peppermill.

26 guests for a 90th birthday was quite a challenge.The extra mile is an understatement when it comes to the service that accompanied our meals , it could not have been better. Nick, Surgeon and the rest of the team wrere superb in their attention to detail andEspeciallly the tender succulent slow roasted pork belly lamb shank and eisbein and fish and chips to die for.To make 2 or 4 people happy is easy but all 26 were bowled over including our 90th birthday girl. Their gourmet cooking also came with beautiful voices who sang happy birthday...suffice to say it was perfect in every way. .. well done Nick and staff you did it well. 26 happy guests we were thrilled thank you for the massive effort.Thank you!

Really good food at a quiet spot thats easy to get to. Service was friendly and staff attentive. The Pepper Mill has a nice play area for the kids so if you on the go, it offers a peaceful break for the whole family.

This Restaurant is a hidden gem. The food is great and service friendly. Smoking allowed outside. There is live Piano music that creates a great atmosphere. Worth a visit.

The owner cares about the food his restaurant and the food shows. Pretty much everything on the menu is really good. You wouldnt expect this from where this place is but this is top city food level

Music was great, the host, Nick is a fantastic cook, and great storyteller. Service was outstanding. Have yet to taste the pizza, whih looked good. Only negative is the crockery and cutlery, which is by no means a deal breaker!

Very good place to have breakfast. The ambience is typical and colorful. Attendants are gentle and give good tips. The restaurant is part of a group of quite unique stores, offering local craft work. The Eggs Benedict was a tasteful experience. The prices are a bit over the average of the area.

We ate at the Peppermill everyday for lunch when our group was in Plettenberg Bay and it was absolutely EPIC! Seriously, everything on the menu was absolutely delicious and some of the best food I had in South Africa. The people there are amazing, and overall I would highly recommend this play to anyone!!!

The Peppermill burger saved my life, it can save yours

We came in having heard great things. Our order was taken quickly and the drinks were good. Then a large group came in about 5/10 minutes after we had and we waited almost an hour for food while the entire large group was served, despite asking the waiters several times and letting them know we had a tour scheduled. (When we waved the manager/chef over, he ignored us and sent a waiter). I will note that when we eventually got our food, it was quite good.

Staff very friendly and really nice vibe. Well decorated inside. Had the hallomi burger with home made chips which were delish and my partner had The best pizza he has ever had from here too! Well enjoyed after doing the Kloofing next door!

This is a cool place. . Tucked away . .staff are always friendly and helpful and food is an interesting array of flavours and choices. .and affordable. . Good beer selection and they have outdoor seating available too which is awesome on a nice sunny Sunday. .worth the short drive from plett. . Oh and did I mention the goats. . Yes they have goats . . And a pricey little tourist/farm/curio/pottery shed next door. . Check it out!
