Great value for money. We had a great stay at Nothandos. The rooms were clean and serviced daily. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Close to town. Wifi signal was not very strong inside the room. They have a chef who cooks delicious meals!

Good location. Nice staffs and helpful. Value for money. Room is big and clean, toiletries included. The major problem is, the fan is not fast enough and unadjustable and the room is hot during the day. Minor issue, priacy is not good enough.

I spent a few days there a while back. Initially it seemed nice enough; one of the staff members who checked me in (his name was Nathi), offered to show me around the town, upon arrival. On the way back we stopped at a local food market to have a look around. Then he started telling me: Kurt, Im hungry since I was eating and he showed me around, I got him something as well. But this became a theme during my stay. He was always asking me for to buy him beers at the hostel. I thought this was very unprofessional. It got to be annoying and ultimately, uncomfortable. He would come up to me and say You owe me because he thought he was giving me extra special service ( the service was ordinary). I understand that he would make similar requests from other guests as well. He also went on the brag about all the guests that he would have sex with. Obviously the owners of the hostel arent very particular about who they chose to hire. I heard that he still works there.

Comfortable double rooms. Secure on site parking. Good social area and pub at the communal kitchen and TV area. Pleasant barbecue facility outdoors. Easy walking distance to Spar supermarket for groceries or takeaways. A few fast food restaurants nearby too.

Nothando was a great choice for my only night in Plettemberg Bay. It is close to pharmacies, supermarket and restaurants (5min walk), has a lot of parking space and also provides some extras that are great for backpackers: laundry at a reasonable price (26 rands per kilo), amazing restaurant inside (r80 for a great fettucini) and breakfast for R60. The room has everything you need, but it could have a better bed and a thicker door at the bathroom. Besides that, the staff was great and we loved our stay.

Nice rooms with heaters inside. Great staffs. In wintertime a bit quiet like all the places on the Garden Route. They also got a cat and a dog. :-) Great to play with or cuddle.

Nothandos has great facilities. The bar and common area are a very relaxed place to hang out. The dorm has comfortable beds and large storage lockers for each guest. The whole compound is also very safe and secure. The staff are super friendly as well.

This is a must place to visit when in Plettenberg or passing threw we loved our stay was fantastic.. Chenille was a great after hours host

Small quaint rooms, but they provided everything that was necessary. The rooms were quiet and clean. The bed was of good quality as well. Located in a fantastic spot not far away from most eating spots. If the outdoor market is going on in Plet, make sure you stop and eat EVERYTHING they have.

Stayed in dormitory room, clean and confortable beds, it has its own bathroom even. Nice and helpful staff, on property free parking. Recommended. There are 2 lovely dogs and 2 cats.

Misleading ( this is not a 5 star establishment, its a 1 star backpackers) , this establishment doesnt let you swipe your card for anything less than 200rand.Beds uncomfortable and old, bathroom dirty, breakfast gross, location is in a dodgy street. They give you an internet password and then they dont give you login details and username to use. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone !

Its an absolutely amazing place. Really good rooms and super service. There is a really good atmosphere. Everyone is sweet and helpful and they have a French chef who makes superb food. Highly recommended.

Certainly great value for money, very attentive, willing and helpful staff, great location as it is close to the center, restaurants, markets, shops, etc. Room with everything needed, very comfortable and clean. Large and good living area, both covered and in the garden, if you want has a barbecue to use, a bar to talk and drink something, as well as a communal kitchen. Highly recommend this hostel! The only thing I missed was a laundry room.
