We stayed for two nights and had a great experience (great location, great, authentic accommodation, super food, friendly staff and animals :) … from the moment we made the reservation, Bettina made us feel welcome.We choose the TNiqua for our daughter who loves horses and it only a hop away from Robberg and Plett! but by the time we left we were all fans! As soon as you meet the Percheron horses, you realize everything at T`Niqua Stable Inn is huge! From the over sized wooden beams in the stable guest rooms, right through to the hospitality of the host team. The only thing that match the length and softness of the bed could be the smiles of the staff. We were treated like royalty!Even if you are not into horses, it is the perfect location to explore Plettenberg Bay from.Be sure to include a dinner or two, to experience the hospitality in a more personal setting.

We spend 3 nights here back in Nov 2019, it was great. The food - tops, the staff - just so friendly and welcoming. Loved all the animals, the large amount of collectibles gave the place a very warm welcoming atmosphere. Love love love!

We stayed at T’Niqua for 4 nights over Christmas 2018.We absolutely loved the place. The view was fantastic, the whole place is very clean and well cared for, the rooms all have a beautiful view and are spacious, the owners are very accommodating and friendly. They really welcomed us.The whole place is in the stable theme and very comfortable and safe.We had lovely breakfast sitting outside overlooking the beautiful grounds and the ocean.We had a great Christmas dinner cooked by a young, handsome and aspiring chef.They also have dogs who like to play and it was fun for us to spend few minutes playing ‘fetch’ with well behaved and well trained dogs.Thank you for making our SA trip great!!There is a bit of a road that is not tarmaced but we didn’t mind as once you are at the place it is very peaceful and relaxing.

We had the most wonderful stay here during our honeymoon. The room was amazing, a great size and comfy bed. It’s decorated ranch style with pictures of horses everywhere. There’s lots of space to relax. The staff were wonderful, very kind. We took a ride on the horses out to the cliffs which was just the icing on the cake. We will certainly return.

This place is good with nice rooms, has a beautiful view of the ocean and the food was great as well. The host was very friendly and welcoming, also gave advice with nearby attractions and coupons.

One of the best experiances in South Africa! Lovely and warm staff was so helpful and nice to everybody. We felt like we came home! Rooms was awesome, food was homemade in the grill, and all the animals including horses, dogs and one funny pony made the holiday. We absolutely recommend this place to everybody!

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Located about ten mins out of Plett on a working livery the family room we had was huge and the bed so comfy. There’s lots of space around the stables and we went for a lovely evening horse ride over the cliffs. The staff are kind and really friendly. We will certainly come back here.

Excellent view of the mountains, excellent room, excellent staff, excellent food. We felt like home and a wonderful surprise at our vacation in South Africa. Next time in SA, certainly I will include the hotel in my vacation schedule.

Great people and one of the most beautiful places in the garden route

We had the most wonderful stay at Tniqua. Hosts Bettina and Michiel add huge cherries on top! Besides going the extra mile to look after us and make sure we had everything we need, the rooms were super comfy . The food was to die for! Awesome South African Braais , healthy , generous brekkies too ! We were absolutely blown away as to what a gem of a place this - the serene environment and a team of people running the place that come from such interesting and dynamic backgrounds in life. We were taken to a new dimension on our holiday and are extremely grateful for having found this heaven of a place in Plettenberg bay. Look for Joy too , she manages the horses and just about everything else and is a wonderful , genuine person full of energy and enthusiasm ... she took us on a beautiful ride with the most incredible views of the ocean , cliffs and coastline of Plettenberg bay . We hope to be back real soon!

A truely amazing place. Hard to describe my enthusiasm in words. The owners run this place like a home away from home. In the evening you can have dinner with them in the living room (like everbody sits together sharing tables etc.). Fire place is rustling etc. the dogs are running around and the plny might visit you in your room. If you are fussy about animals - go to a boutique hotel ;-).Our kids loved every minute. Horse riding with an awesome teacher, nature, view over the sea.The new house has some amazing rooms. The style is really amazing. Breakfast is tasty and staff is uper friendly. And you will meet lots of friends there, as it comes natural to mingle with the other guests. The atmosphere puts everyone in a good mood.

If I could give more stars, I would have given 6 out of 5. Everything was so perfect, to complete out holiday in South Africa.We were three families and we stayed here for 4 Nights. The hosts, Micheal and Bettina looked after us very well and we were overhelmed with their warm and courteous hospitality.To begin with, the property is situated on a hill overlooking the Indian Ocean. The onwers are obsessed with Horses and all the interior has been done as per that theme. As if each and every artifact has been handpicked and decorated. It has a swimming pool, lush lawns, cosy dining area with an option to dine outdoors, if the weather permits, fireplaces at various locations, nice big lobby area to sit, relax, read, etc.The two family rooms on the first floor, Mandla and Storm are two big spacious rooms with aDouble bed, a bunker bed bed for kids, dressing table, kitchennete, bathroom with seperate shower area, electric blankets, room heater, refrigerator, etc etc etc...As most of us were vegeretian, the Chef, Rob took care to make more vegeterian and Indian dishes. The food quality and vatiety was awesome. And the hosts served the food to us as if we were family. One of our friends was celebrating his Birthday during the stay and the hosts arranged for a party for us, a musician, decoration, lovely cakes made by Bettina herself and barbecue prepared by Rob the magician!!All in all, the ideal place to stay in Plettenberg and the Garden Route. We will be back for sure!!

At TNiqua Stable Inn & Horse and Carriage just outside Plettenberg Bay, a paradise awaits the nature lover who is looking for hiking trails along rocky slopes by the sea and a late night fire around a boma.During the day you can stretch your tanned body next to the horseshoe pool for a little vitamin sea or admire the view from one of the cottages ...On horseback you can also explore the sea stone slopes.

We were more than welcome from the first second. Bettina is a charming hostess. The accommodation is fantastically located, the rooms / suites beautifully decorated in every detail. Breakfast and dinner very tasty.

A stunning place in its beauty. The room was really nicely decorated and the atmosphere excellent. Breakfast was really good. At night, however, there were winds and the noises were noticeable in the cabin so we couldnt sleep too much. In my opinion, it depends on the cabin they accept because not everyone has heard the noise like us.

A unique accommodation. It takes about 10 minutes to get out of Plettenberg Bay. But thats definitely worth it. Totally quiet with sea view. Horses and dogs around you and just an atmosphere in which you feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious. We especially liked the dinner by the fireplace with delicious wine. We would like to come back.

Beautiful place

We stayed at the T’Niqua Stable Inn in December 2019 with two children and two adults. The house is a horse ranch and we lived in one of the horse stables that were beautifully converted into hotel rooms. The property was one of the most unusual and nicely decorated accommodations weve seen. The room was very large and the beds were very good. The area is very spacious and the staff was very friendly. There was an excellent South African dinner (menu buffet) at a fair price.

An amazing place in its beauty. A rural and pastoral atmosphere (and still a 10-minute drive from the city center). The rooms are large and meticulous, the bed is comfortable (water bed) and the view is gorgeous. Staff was kind and the breakfast was delicious. warmly recommended!

Beautiful horse farmA great farm for horse lovers. The motto runs through the entire facility and beyond. Very spacious and quiet and super nice staff! A little further away from Plett bay and all restaurants.Our room was unfortunately very noisy and we could hear everything from our neighbors from above.Ideal for children and horse lovers

A place where you feel comfortable with the whole family. And even after 4 days stay at the departure is sad, not a longer stop scheduled. Every evening, the 3-course dinner was the culmination of eventful days in Plettenberg Bay.

Exactly one year ago we (4 adults, 1 teenager) were with Bettina and her husband on their beautiful property! We really enjoyed our stay with these wonderful hospitable people. The community at breakfast and dinner was especially nice. A special highlight was the ride on the horses with this wonderful view of the Robberg! This great place was recommended to us by our brother Aron (“the beautiful guy”), who was here as part of his year abroad.P.S .: Bettina, guess what. Six weeks after our beautiful holiday at your vacation we found out that we are expecting. We brought a little Pinguin from SA Plettenberg Bay - he is twelve weeks old now ♥ ️
