A really nice store with a lot of products not found elsewhere. Clean, neat and well stocked. Lots of specials especially if you have their store card. Highly recommended.

Checkers is a great place for shopping. The staff are great and helpful. Unfortunately I am giving it only 4 out of 5 stars as I felt that some of the staff were not as helpful as the majority of the staff.

I would like to shop a checkers every time because of the staff good attitude and I saved a lot

A great shopping experience at the Liberty Midlands Mall Checkers. Very neat and well-organized. I find the bakery, cheese bar and other kiosks a pleasure to visit. The fresh produce is on point and almost everything can be obtained here. Its a pleasure to use their card for weekly specials which are definitely priced better than elsewhere.

Visited checkers cascades only to be shouted at by a bakery employee named Nana. Absolutely rude!!!! Consumers should rather visit pick n pay @ athlone centre which is a stones throw away from checkers.
