TPA Primary School is one of the few schools that has full service school status. This means that the school accommodates for special needs learners with barriers to learning. If your child does not qualify to attend a special school, the child can receive help from a full service school provided there is space. TPA provides a high quality education for all.

My 12 year old son was pulled out of the assembly by the principal Mr Sewpersad given R20 and was told to walk to raisethorpe to get his hair cut.My son then asked him of he could not go home instead as his father has a haircut machine ,the response was no you will go now he was then let out of the school by security no questions asked.His last haircut was on Thursday(26.04.2018) evening.My 12 year old, terrified then walked to raisethorpe by himself crying got to Allys and asked for a haircut the man there told him i cannot cut your hair as there is nothing to cut he then trimmed the top of the hair and took the R20 my son then returned to school.The principal then looked at his hair and said its still not right and sent him back to the class.I called to speak to the principal this morning i was told he is unavailable I left messages for him and until now he has not returned my call.My husband called at the school to address the principal he was given nothing but attitude and said my husband should take him to the department of education and that he would do the same to his own child or any child for that matter.Mr Sewpersad took it upon himself to put my childs life in danger I would really like to know if something happend to my child on the way where would that leave Mr Sewpersads attitude? My son could have been knocked or kidnapped or stabbed.The principal did not bother to pick up the phone and call us the parents to rectify this matter or send a letter home as all other schools do it,and which TPA school has done before, apparently this is the schools policy & regulations,if this is the policy then i can only imagine what else happens to the kids at TPA School.This is unfair discrimination and gross negligence and this is UNACCEPTABLE!
