This is a big store which is well stocked with a variety of products. I bought plants here which where affordable and healthy. The negative part is to deal with Rude, Arrogant Tellers where they scan and we pay. The packers even worst.

Enjoyed the coffee shop with R10 for all items....

Anchor tenants includes Woolworths, Game, Pick n Pay, Dischem and Edgars. Food places includes Nandos, Mugg & Bean, Spur, Debonairs, Milky Lane, Steers and other. Also has an entertainment area for kids.Ample parking, but rather full at times.

The queues in this shop are always EXTREMELY long. It is shocking. Today I went in at lunch time and although there are 16 cash desks there were only 4 operating cashiers. I have never seen more than 4 and the queues are always ridiculously long. Today I asked to speak to the manager about the long queues. He told me that he had no idea how long I had been waiting for. That had nothing to do with my WHY. Times are tough at the moment, surely there are more cashiers out there who would be happy to work at Pick n Pay or is there some other reason that Pick n Pay wont employ more people???? I will not shop there again. It is such a waste of time waiting in the queue forever. Such a pity!!!!!!!!!!

Largely good Pick n Pay, but their paninis are always somewhat stale and they absolutely never have enough tills open. No matter how quiet or busy they are, they always have too few tellers, so theres inevitably a long wait to pay.

Customer service at pick n pay grocery store is pathetic! No manager on site. Very different from any other store in the city.

I love this store. I find it has a bit of everything I need and some.The deli has great food made fresh and they have a spice counter which is wonderful! I was able to get the lady to make me a spice mix like the one my mom uses (I didnt know the exact combination) and somehow she knew what I meant and put one together in minutes.They have decent specials and end of day sales which make evening shopping worthwhile.Its also clean and well lit which enhances the shopping experience.

Fresh produce always available, love the fact that they have like make your own soup from scratch packs.Specials are nice and its quite affordable, even the house brands.The deli has a lovely selection of hot foods and the bakery has an array of cakes for a sweet tooth.They also sell clothing as well as make up and bath stuff which is think is pretty cool.You can literally get everything you need at one shop.

Best croissants ever. Good selection of different cheese. 2 hours free parking when you shop here. Has wheel chair accessible parking and entrance. Helpful and friendly staff with good service.

Pick and Pay is a top place to shop but the Liberty Midlands Mall parking is not the best. One exit is currently closed and no marshalls are there to prevent gridlock.

Great store. Always has fresh prepared foods and vegetables. Always clean and well stocked. Staff are always friendly and ready to assist. They stock a great range of fresh flowers. Some of the pick n pay clothing range is also available here.

There were no sani wipes last weekend and still nothing today... very disappointing. They always have such long busy queues and when you get to the till they seldom greet you.

Good vegetable section. Nice ready made puddings. Enough tellers on duty. Pleasant.

Its a huge shopping mall. A good one IF you like walking miles seeing everything on one level. The Wimpy service is the worst I have experienced ever anywhere bearing in mind I have eaten at wimpy for at least the pasy40 years

Grocery store located inside the Midlands mall. I normally shop inside the pick and pay grocery store because its quite convenient have everything any pick and pay store have in-stock. They have these easily movable trolleys to carry products and goods easily to the parking lot. Super fast service

Shocking customer service, no sense of any urgency whatsoever. Background music couldve killed me. I dont know why Pick n Pay is so expensive and has such terrible service... SPAR is cheaper and has better service!

I entered this store today (20 Feb 2019) at about 11h00 to buy lunch. I selected 3 items and looked around for the express till. There were 3 or 4 tills open and each had a long queue of people with full trolleys. I am recovering from an operation, am in pain and walk on a walking frame. I asked one of the packers if there was an express till. She was quite rude and abrupt and said No express till. I then asked if there was a facility for disabled people to pay quickly. She just said No and pretended to ignore me. I was in too much pain to take this up with a manager, put my items down and left the store. You need to be more aware that not everyone is fit and healthy. I shop at other branches of your store but wont use this one again.

I took my kettle back after 5 months of purchase and they refused to change because of no slip but it has two year warranty. They told me smart shopper only reads 3 months and less. Mxxxxm

Good variety and quality of products. A clean store, friendly staff and decent prices, however the issue of queues at pay points needs to resolved. Cashiers are not allocated packers even on month end weekends which is ridiculous

Most of the cashiers do not greet you and they think that you are doing them a favour by purchasing at that store, you can hardly get a smile from anyone in the store, staff are always chatting to one another than paying attention to customer service. Please address these issues if you want customers to come back

Pick n Pay is really a pleasure to visit at Liberty Midlands Mall, any time of the day and I love the ample space, greatly for wheelchair shopper like me.

Called in the day before to check opening time and was told 8am... same as what this website says. Been standing outside since 7.45 am and told now at 8.42 that store only opens at 9am. Ridiculous!!! Update your social media and website if the times are different. So mad.

Why are there no 10 or less tills, expecially on a weekend. When you one or two items and have wait in a long queue. The cigarette counter which usually is a the till to take those one items allows a person with a trolley to go and pay and certainly not less 20 items nevermind 10.

Impressive selection of products but the till service is very slow and they never have enough tills open.

There is no other better place to buy your daily groceries than Pick N Pay, staff always go an extra mile to find whatever I am looking for with a smile. Big up to fruit and vegetables market, bakery, wine shop cashiers and the handsome money kiosk guy🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.

Its ok. This place is a normal shopping store, nothing big or extraordinary, you can buy groceries and various other items from here. It is located in a very well known mall, and anything you cant find in here specifically, there are many other options of shops to choose from all around this Pick n Pay. Whats new?

Liberty Mall Pietermaritzburg. Only about 6 tills open at 4pm school holidays. Several Fresh meat lying by the chips and sweet racks at the till. No clear packets to put things like Doom etc in when putting into the other groceries. Some Ladies at bakery dont know what type of muffins are on the tray.

Its a great super market to shop at, everything is where it needs to be and also clean, although i bought a tray of sausages that was going to expire the following day, my bad , i should have cheaked the date.....silly me

I still dont like the layout .. I cant find anything. At least their Kitty litter is more reasonable than other brands and they have stock.

A decent Pick n Pay. Size is ok and has all necessities that one needs. Appearance is good and so was the cleanliness. Queuing was fast as cashiers are quick. Setup is good and found items with ease.

Service appalling. Saturday, 4 tills only open. Then someone cant remember their pin no and they close the till. Then you join another queue, people infront of you, keeping a place for someone who suddenly arrives with a trolley full of food. Dont shop there. 1hr in line eaiting.
