Well, oh happy days oh happy days. This Checkers is still a Linda McCartneys stockist!This makes me believe that it is a supermarket that is better than the rest. The muffins I got, the ones I am having now on my way home, are hella fresh. The store is appropriately stocked and clean. 👌

I went to buy wine gum duos along with other things only to find the duos were not in the plastic bag yet they had been paid for. I know that the sweets didn’t fall out of the bag because I had tied a knot. I’m extremely unhappy with that. Going to other places from now on.

Its guud nd got all you can need

Ive been shopping there for the past 25 years and am now highly disgusted and furious!!Yesterday I had two separate men come and ask me for money as well as checking what I had in my basket. I AM NOT AN ATM!!As well as seeing cockaroaches running around near the tills. Im saddened to say that I will not shop there again! After 25 years, youve lost a customer!!!

Havent been there in 2 years. They now have specials that you can use checkers card for discounts.

Bad experience here. Cashiers too slow. Poor customer services especially where they sell prepared meals... Theyd be talking alone and have no regard for standing customers, was really appalled by the service i got.

I am going to give this checkers 4 stars, because it has the friendliest stuff members, especially the managers. The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars was because of the till point workers, especially the ladies, they are always angry, most of them I dont know why

Just been to the Scottsville Checkers and saw 3 of their customers walking around the shop without a mask. These customers walked past multiple staff and security personnel that did nothing at all to stop them. I will not be going back their again, and I hope that all other people take a hard think before they go there, unless you want too increase your chances of catching Covid.

The cashiers are now behaving like Shoprite cashiers, poor customer care even the supervisor failed to assist. Dont say you offer services you cant offer or irritates you when we request them.

I find them a bit expensive compared to Mill Spar

It has great service Providence and a suitable enough place to grab a quick bite.

Friendly service and always have stock of what I need

Cashiers are unfriendly and miserable. Bag packers dont put your bags in your trolley and just stand about gazing aimlessly, while you do it. Too few tills open causing long queues. Last shopped here 3 years ago, and standards have definitely dropped.

Avoid this place, it dirty, the one fridge has been dead since the beginning of the year. The warm food section lacks variety, and hasnt changed in almost a decade. The shop lack variety and its tiny. Did I mention the mess???? I think this shop need to visit other checkers stores and start implementing changes. Its well positioned, with ample parking, just lacks direction and vision. If you have choice dont.go here.

Cool place

A rather sad looking Checkers that is fine for the odd grocery shop. There are better supermarkets in the Hayfields area.

Ambience is nice. Staff are super helpfull. And they have staff that are deaf .

Meh, doesnt make sense for this supermarket to be open when there are other supermarkets that do a better job of overall everything, from fresh fruit to queue times.

Checkers is just fine, but overcrowded beyond control, which is very Obvious, and never has Stock of my favorite Aloe Pineapple Juice 1.5.

Getting from bad to worse.Unfriendly staff in the vegetable section..The tellers act as though the cost of the miniature garden seeds come from their own pocket. If you dont ask for it, they dont give you.
