Treatment received was awful. Travelling from Joburg. Stopped to catch up on some work. Needed a seat with a plug point/socket.Was asked to wait. When the table was available, turns out it was already reserved for someone else.Manager and assistant manager still couldnβt reach an alternative with us. Asked for more assistance, instead, assistant manager argued with us and said weβre being difficult. Expressed how weβre being inconvenienced as customers and he said weβre making his job difficult.Really not pleased with the treatment received. Definitely not using this Wimpy when visiting this area again.

The service my girlfriend and I received on 04 February 2021 was abruptly horrible and terrific. We got in, already the waitresses showed no interest in helping us. There were a few people in store for them to have not even given us attention. Instead they were gossiping, along with the chef. We even had to take ourselves to a table that had not been cleaned(despite this second wave of corona). I had to sanitize the table. After sitting(this is now after 10 minutes) finally someone decided to reach out and moved us to a different table and started sanitizing then. We had to call for a waitress to take our order. Even after we waited for 30 minutes for simple flapjacks and ice cream. How disappointing ! A whole Wimpy outlet service so slow and poor when there arenβt even a lot of customers. Customers who ordered after us even got their food before us. This is disrespect on another level.

Horrible service, we waited for an hour before we got our food and when it finally arrived it wasnt appetizing at all.
This is otherwise a great place but there are waitrons who clearly need retraining and retooling. Theres a particular one who is loud, cannot be corrected, and clearly obstinate. Im writing this review today, Monday 12th October, 9:10 am. Shes on the shift and having been cautioned to lessen her noise she made some rude retorts. I will refrain from mentioning names for now, but I am very disappointed in the restaurant if they allow waitrons to become bigger than the shop.
Its a good place to be, the only issue that was there on my last visit was the issue of network and it was due to power failure
I am very disappointed, Ive arrived 2 hours before the closing time which is advertised online but we had to leave as we where told that we are not allowed to sit and have our meals on house but should only get take aways.it is not good as I have checked closing time online which is 7 pm hence we decided to drive there just to be disappointed on my mothers birthday.that totally bad service kindly check the time written online and what is said by your waitress.

The staff is slow, they make noise in the restaurant, they dont give us correct orders because they talking to each even when taking order. They scream and scare us while eating. I ordered coffee and it took approximately 12 minutes to get to me. I think the staff need training

They still need to work hard on customer service, and respect each and every individual coming into the shop regardless of their situation. I had to endure eating oily fries that taste like yesterday.

I was made aware that the had been a water crisis in Qwaqwa from September 2019 if the owners of this wimpy were pro active they should have done something to mitigate this water challenge especially for the restrooms.my suggestion is they must use their grey water for the rest rooms.But the food and service from Dimakatso was super !!!π

I like the Wimpy periperi very much, wish u could have some for sale. I ordered Thrill of the Grill n learnt theres no more bread yet the price is now higher, why? It is said theres free WiFi yet for the two hours I was in there they could not activate it. Please give us value for our money.
Had the most disgusting service yesterday at this wimpy after a long drive from joburg we were hungry and wanted to grab something to eat, but the service we got from the 3 waitress standing at the door was shocking, as we entered the restaurant they were standing at the corner no energy they looked very bored and no interest at all, we even asked them why they dont even greet us and they just kept quiet and we walked ourselves to the table and left them standing after a few minutes a lady came and threugh us with the menus, she didnt even say anything just left we waited patiently for some one to service us but unfortunately the lady never came back and there was one lady at the door whom we asked for assistance but she just looked away, and we just stood up and left no customer service no well come the service was really terrible, alot of people out there are looking for jobs which other people are taking for granted.

Wimpy (Phuthaditjhaba) is deteriorating. It used to be great when it first opened. Now they never have anything. Ill ask for banana boat theyll say they dont have bananas. Ill ask for wings theyll say they dont have wings. Ill ask for brown bread theyll say they only have white. That also puts waitresses in an uncomfortable situation of having to tell people that the meal is not available. Im constantly disappointed when I go to Wimpy which makes me avoid all Wimpys. I only like the new decor. They must do something about their out of stock problem. I used to go every week at wimpy now its reduced to once in three months in hopes that Ill get what I want to eat.
Professional and passionate staff
They sold poisonous food, the staff are not interested in working and serving the customers. The business hours are from 7 am to 8pm, but staff stops working from 6pm

We waited 20 min for a waitress to attend us. When she finally attended us she got my order wrong. The toilets were dirty and the checklist in the toilets showed that the toilets were last checked or cleaned 4 hours ago.
